Peter King: DOJ and FBI – Nunes and Gowdy Never Saw Documents… [Trunc]
Conservative Treehouse ^ | May 11, 2018 | Sundance

Posted on 05/11/2018 11:02:19 PM PDT by Trump_vs_Evil_Witch

Contrary to previous reporting, representative Peter King (R-NY) reveals that yesterday Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy were not allowed to see the originating documents during their visit with the DOJ and FBI officials. Representative Trey Gowdy (U-DC) reluctantly admitted moments ago, the statement by Peter King was true.

The DOJ refused to allow Nunes & Gowdy access to the “EC” (electronic communication) document that initiated the FBI counterintelligence operation. Instead, Nunes and Gowdy were given an opaque description of the EC process; and told to come back next week if they wanted to talk more.

Additionally, Peter King reveals the DOJ and FBI are manipulating President Trump, and tricking him to believe declassifying information would endanger sources.

You don’t think information revealing the FBI being involved in concealing documents that expose their own criminality should be Front Page News of FR?

So the FBI/DOJ can’t inform Congressional oversight about a secret source inside the Trump campaign “because that would reveal sources and methods”.

So, I wonder if there was any discipline to the FBI agent that told Christopher Steele that there was an FBI source in the Trump campaign ?

Trump has the Constitutional authority to declassify and publicly release any document in the Executive branch of government.

Time and time again, Trump has called this investigation a “witch hunt.”

It is incomprehensible that he refuses to release documents that would prove his innocence.

Does he really believe that “national security” - as defined by the totally corrupt FBI and DOJ - is more important than the fact that the President of the United States has been forced to govern for 15 months under a cloud of alleged criminality?

More than likely he is being told that if he declassifies anything, he will be charged for obstruction of justice.

Re: “More than likely he is being told that if he declassifies anything, he will be charged for obstruction of justice.”

In that case, Trump should be on TV or Twitter every day informing the voters that those documents prove his innocence, and that Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller are totally corrupt.

I’ve been pondering this myself and can only surmise that Nunes and Gowdy have yielded to Trump’s continuing to classify the evidence as a way of assisting the DOJ’s IG in their investigation.

That needs to be repeated time and time again. He controls the process, yet doesn't do a thing about it.

“Representative Trey Gowdy (U-DC) reluctantly admitted”

Gowdy is there to attempt more smoke-and-mirrors cover and protection of the Deep State. Of course he’s “reluctant.”

“It is incomprehensible that he refuses to release documents that would prove his innocence.”

It IS comprehensible if he’s waiting for certain things to fall in to place first.

There’s plenty of swamp that’s been exposed by President Trump’s patience on this matter. That all works well for him and the USA. The Deep State are exposing themselves left and right for all the world to watch and learn. This all ends with President Obama in prison, Possibly.

-- It is incomprehensible that he refuses to release documents that would prove his innocence. --

Proving innocence is a logical impossibility. Even if you can prove that enemies planted false evidence of a crime, that does not prove there is an absence of honest evidence of the same crime.

Listen to Schiff and others - they are all "still looking," and if they haven;t found it yet, it's because Trump is blocking them. And Trump blocking them is evidence of guilt.

The press fuels this. Guilt by speculation.
