Sounds like they could have saved a couple of bucks not supporting the protests. And, I guess Naheed missed the $24 million in revenue for local businesses? How much of the taxes on that went back in the city coffers. I think $575K sounds like a bargain.

Antifa and college snowflakes proved any conservative speaker causes violence and turmoil and costs too much for security so conservatives are banned from expressing themselves.
There. That was easy.

Perhaps my memory is failing me.
I don't recall the media providing an accounting, in dollars and cents, of the costs incurred by a city that hosts conventions of the NAACP, NOW, CAIR, DNC, etc.

This is rather interesting. I worked the one, last year, in Atlanta. Most of the cops in and around the Georgia World Congress Center were working off-duty. They were either getting paid directly from the NRA, the World Congress Center or whatever other facility/location was having an event. All of those costs are rolled up in the bill that the NRA pays to each.
There was a protest last year in Atlanta, albeit a very small one. The police just shuffled some shifts around with discretionary units and everything was okay. So, I’d love to see the books on this and how the cops were allocated.
And as many have already said, I’d LOVE to see the amount of tax revenue brought in with all the hotel, restaurants, and bar tabs that were generated during the weekend.

“The bill arrived, and here’s how much the NRA convention and Trump visit cost Dallas police”
And the point is?
So what if Dallas saved money when President Kennedy visited.

According to
The Hill,
"87,154 people attended the convention over the three-day weekend"
.
87,154 people. Each spending hundreds of dollars in Dallas over the weekend.
The sales tax revenues on just their meals MORE than paid for the police. Add the hotel tax revenues, and the city got a huge profit from the event.
