Oklahoma State Troopers Association lobbied against this bill. So did the OSBI.

I live in Maine, which passed Constitutional Carry in 2015.
Gov. Paul LePage signed the bill, which was passed by the democrat controlled Maine House and the Republican controlled state Senate.
The Maine State Troopers were in favor of the Constitutional Carry bill. They were happy not to have to bother with background checks and other paperwork.
Plus, the troopers knew it would not be a problem and so far, no problems at all.

Always follow the money, they want to keep those fees coming in ....
