Totally agree. It’s long past time for Jim Robinson to tell these anti-conservative Cruz-bashers to knock it off. It’s always the same handful of hateful jerks who come to Cruz threats to spew their vitriol and divisiveness. They are tools.

I for one remember how Cruz supporters treated Trump supporters.

I think it’s safe to say the hatchet has been buried with the Senator from Texas, but his FR supporters are DEFINITELY another matter.

Cruz has 0.001% chance of losing. It is just a media scam to increase fund raising for the Democraps.

I like Cruz but it seems Cruz was the conservtive-basher during the Convention...willing to assist Hillary politically by not supporting Trump at the Convention.

Agreed

The same way we score Curz supporters bearing sour grapes it past time for the Trump supporters to stop it.

Cruz fought hard and lost. There is no dishonor in that. Cruz has moved on and is one of the few totally reliable Trump allies in the US Senate.

It is well past time Freepers on both sides to drop it.

All this hate for one of the most conservative Senators in the Senate on a site populated by conservatives.

Hate? Hardly. That sounds like a snowflake media report of Trump having a “meltdown” on Twitter because he tweeted some news story was fake.

However, I’ve found that Mea Culpas go much further with FR posters who were DEMONSTRABLY wronged and vilified than haranguing by the ones who did the vilifying.

I appreciate Senator Cruz and his support for the administration, but his supporters here were, for the most part, contemptible.

This hateful impulse to (figuratively) put a bullet in the head of an ally is completely inexplicable.

Oh, I don’t know. This kind of wreckless hyperbole, going back to the primaries, explains it rather well.

If we all had acted like Ted did in 2016, Hillary Clinton would be president right now.

Sadly some folks I have a lot of respect for can’t grasp the reality of this.

Ted Cruz was a traitor to Conservatism in 2016.

He will never have my respect or support again.

I think you’re the first person to say something nice about Graham. Me, I love them both for supporting the embassy opening in the true capital of Israel, plus supporting Trump. They know Trump supporters are going to win big at election time this November.

In the 2016 campaign, he was one of the most solid supporters of Israel, I’m sure he always is though, campaign or not.

I like Cruz, voted for him in the primaries, I like Trump, voted for him for Prez., I would have crawled over broken glass to vote for Trump. The 2 even had a stop the Iran deal rally together. It is unfortunate that there is division on this topic. All should drop it.

The word “controversial” irritates me.

It should not be considered “controversial” for the U.S. to open an embassy in a country’s capital city.

#49: "Ted Cruz was a traitor to Conservatism in 2016."

I was a Ted Cruz guy until it came out about his ties to Goldman Sachs. His wife even works for Goldman Sachs! How could Cruz give speeches slagging Goldman Sachs, and yet the woman he sleeps next to every night works for them???

Sort of phony baloney, I think.

Cruz still takes some good positions, but I remember the Bushes saying one thing and doing the opposite too.

Same here man. My hatred is for McCain (I hope you die quicker you old puke) and a number of RINO assholes. Cruz is going to support Israel, not support the PLO. Let’s filter our hatred towards those who deserve it..

Hilarious! Boy, there sure was a difference in Young Turks from this video in 2015 to their meltdown 11/9/2016.

For some reason, I never keyed off the Goldman Sachs thing. I may have mentioned it at times, but it wasn’t like a deal killer for me.

What I was absolutely sure of, was that if Trump’s wife had worked there, it would have been an absolute deal killer for the Cruz supporters. Being Cruz’s wife, no way...

Yes, Ted seemingly does good things at times. It’s only later that you find out that things weren’t exactly as they seemed.

After the handking out of Teddy Bears to the children of illegals, Ted swore he was solid on illegal immigration. Back in 1999, he advised then candidate George Bush on illegal immigration, and he sure wasn’t pro hard-line then.

Ted seems to bend any way the wind blows. “Okay, that will work right now, but remind me to have an explanation ready in 12 months.”
