Where’s the outrage over Kerry’s secret meetings on the Iran deal?
Washington Post ^ | May 11, 2018 | Marc A. Thiessen

Democrats routinely express outrage over claims of collusion with a foreign power to undermine our democracy.

So where is the outrage over revelations that former secretary of state John Kerry held not one but two secret meetings with Iran’s foreign minister to strategize over how to undermine President Trump’s plans to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal?

An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed the meetings after the Boston Globe broke the news, declaring , “We don’t see the U.S. just as Mr. Trump; the United States is not just the current ruling administration.”

Think about what this means. Iran is a terrorist state responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans in Iraq, whose leaders hold rallies where thousands chant “Death to America!” Kerry was working with a sworn enemy of the United States to try to undermine the foreign policy of the elected president of the United States.

I thought we didn’t like Americans who colluded with our enemies. ..."

WP editorial board member, John Podesta, must’ve stepped out of the office.

If he was "negotiating" with Iran against the wishes of the current administration, I would label that TREASON!!!

Consider the source, it makes sense....

=======================================================================

Shortly after taking office in 1985, Kerry and Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa went on a fact-finding trip to Nicaragua, where they met with Daniel Ortega (right) and other Sandinistas. The trip was criticized when the Sandinistas cemented ties with Moscow.

Outrage? Where is the media fawning and guest appearances on every conceivable Sunday talk show? [He] should be hoisted on a chair and marched around as a leftist hero! That's MY outrage! Where are [his] supporters and pinko cheerleaders? [He] IS their hero, right?

Under questioning from the Committee, Kerry referred to the democratically elected government of South Vietnam -- our allies -- as a "dictatorial regime, the Thieu-Ky-Khiem regime," while respectfully calling the North Vietnamese communist regime we were fighting by its oxymoronic official name, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the murderous Viet Cong's political arm by their preferred "Provisional Revolutionary Government.

From Real Clear Politics, Sept 10, 2015...

“In a 2014 New Yorker interview, Obama said his goal was to create a ‘new equilibrium’ in the Middle East.

In the short run, at least, his signature diplomatic undertaking can be counted on to bring more violence to this volatile region.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, as the [Obama-Putin Iran deal] agreement is formally known, provides the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism an infusion of somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 billion of unfrozen assets and a great deal more of continuing revenues as businesses and governments around the world rush to profit from oil-and-gas-rich Iran’s reintegration into the world economy.

The agreement relaxes the international isolation of the Islamic Republic and ratifies Tehran’s status as a nuclear threshold state. And it relieves restrictions on Iran’s acquisition of weapons, including ballistic missiles. ...”

You couldn’t get a cleaner case to prosecute under the Logan Act.

If it’s unconstitutional, let the court decide: ambiguous law is detrimental to the rule of law.

Mind you, Mueller used the Logan Act in persecuting Flynn, so this is something with real-world effect that is not merely hypothetical.

Kerry should be arrested and tried.

Where is the outrage over all of the insurrection Kerry has created in this country? He should have been put in prison the day he lied about his fellow soldiers committing violent acts in Vietnam. Oh no, they put him on a pedestal and has been there all of his pathetic life.
