The media is so addicted to covering President Donald Trump that they are missing important stories happening elsewhere, New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof told CNN’s “Reliable Sources” on Sunday.
Admitting that he was as guilty as other journalists, Kristof said that “We in the media are all Trump, all the time... [and] the upshot is that we risk not covering a lot of really important things at home and around the world.”

...and it's indeed about Trump.
Kristof, you and the media are missing the coup attempt that's going on right under your noses...
...and it's incredible as everyone watches you self-destruct simply so you can ignore it.
Covering Trump is easy and it sells. The media is no longer interested in news, just ratings and spreading their leftist activism, which is why not only are they 24/7 Trump. they are 24/7 hate filled anti-Trump.
I feel like it’s 1973, and Time Square is filled with flashing neon signs saying:
WATERGATE! WATERGATE!
NIXON UP TO NO GOOD!
FIND DEEP THROAT! HE KNOWS EVERYTHING!
HALDEMANN, EHRLICHMANN, LIDDY!
And two reporters named Woodward and Bernstein are down below, averting their eyes, looking for some dark place to have a drink and complain that there’s nothing good to write about.

Trump is also getting a lot accomplished while the media/Left chase inconsequential fluff. If the media was really reporting what Trump was doing (UNdoing Obama in more ways that the big stuff like Iran Deal, etc.), the Leftists would be protesting in the streets. The way things are going now, they’ll ‘wake up’ one day and say “what happened?”

But—they won’t.
I don’t mind them missing all the other stories.
They keep their sheep blind and parts of the flock are culled from the democrat party as they realize all the good that is taking place, while their traditional sources of news suppress this.
I listened. What I heard was that ‘Trump is still a jerk, but every now and then we should mention other news....and Trump is still a jerk.’ (my paraphrase)

That isn't really the issue at all. What is missing does include Trump, it's just that all the media are interested in are stories that criticize or demean him. Where, for example, is the coverage on the Jerusalem embassy? The North Korea negotiations? The Iranian nuclear treaty or the Paris climate treaty? Unemployment? The success of the tax cuts? The real issue is that the media guidance is "step lightly lest we say something that might be positive." You're going to miss a lot of news that way.
That picture is a keeper. I bet the president has tons of books with lovely pictures like that. He doesn’t seem like a clutterbug, but I bet he’s saving awesome pictures like that one.
The Trump moves in NK and Israel have shown some on the Left that their are limits to what they can defeat by simply blanketing the airwaves with negative news.
They REALLY didn’t want Trump to win in either of these countries but they were too busy promoting a ugly hooker.
Now they have lost both battles and most likely their go-to message that Trump is a dictator.
Their only way out now is to find something new, believable and provable.
Highly unlikely considering all they have “investigated”
