Avenatti suddenly had about $,8,000,000 of debt discharged about when he started representing Stormy and appears to have been involved in some serious crime. Who's the sugar daddy?

Ah yes, MSNBC and CNN. Twin pillars of the media coup. Add a crooked shyster and a pole-dancing porn star and you have the apotheosis of current American celebrity culture. Bugs on the Trump train's windshield.

He will lose that money and remain financially desperate, due to his character.

Was that the settlement reached with the former partners? In other words they reduced their claim by that amount pursuant to the settlement rather than that amount suddenly being paid by someone?

It’s going to be awesome watching this guy fall on his face.

According to him, if I’m not mistaken, the crowd funding mechanism has generated a little over $400k. That’s a long way from 8 million.

I wonder how he reported that income to the IRS. Guys like Avenatti, for as smart as they think they are, are dumber than a box of rocks. They get approached by underlings of those like Soros and Steyer. Get asked to do a job, thinking that they will become a member of the club. Only to find out that they are nothing but cannon fodder and useful idiots. All the numbers they could call are no longer in service. All the email accounts have been shut down.

And there he’ll be, left holding the bag. Daniels may wind up, CIDED, either suiCIDE or ArkanCIDE, but gone, nonetheless.

Not necessarily. Oh, in reality he is being paid to represent her. But from the technical POV, no one will ever prove anything.

Here’s how it is done: Someone (I’m assuming here that it is some 3rd level Soros functionary) with a private foundation, or who is representing a large business, comes to this guy and says, “Hey, I like your politics and the image you project. I’d love to give you $8 million so that you’re out from all of your debts. Oh, and btw, I have this acquaintance who’s an ex-pornstar (not hard on the eyes, either) who apparently needs some representation related to some contract that she had with Donald Trump. So, how should I make out the check?”

Not one bit of that would have been in writing (except for a very carefully-worded engagement agreement for that $8 million), none of it would have been recorded, and it was worded carefully enough that even if it HAD been recorded, a quid pro quo could never be proven...yet EVERYONE knows that it exists. I do believe that he’s a scumbag, but he’s not that stupid of a scumbag as to mess this kind of thing up.

BTW, apparently this guy owes the IRS about $5 million. The entire $8 million (if that’s the real figure) would be subject to income tax at 37%, which would leave him with less than the $5 needed to pay off the IRS. Of course, the details matter, but that wouldn’t get him completely out of hot water, just mostly. See how the evil rich control you...they give you enough to live decently, for a while, and not one penny more.

OK, so now WE know that...

When will the rest of the world find out?

When will the drivebys start putting this into any story about Daniels or her attorney, other than to use them to hurt Trump?

What can happen legally?

I think I hear... {crickets}... nothing.

A guy in this case would probably prefer that 50-percent of the money is handed to him under the table. If they admitted the 8-mil...probably 25-percent to 40-percent of that would go toward state/federal taxes.

As attorney Robert Barnes reported earlier today in January 2018 Michael Avenatti got an unidentified source of income that allowed him to pay:
** $4.85 Million to his law firm employees he defrauded
** Close to $2 Million in back taxes for payroll taxes on his law firm
** Nearly another $1 million to other creditors

As I read the story, the amazing thing is that it was reported. And that is because he is in bankruptcy.

Now as to the source of the funds, he says it is mostly from crowd funding. Now the next questions is................

And is this where crowdfunding thought their money would go?

$,8,000,000 of debt discharged

I did not see that in the article but makes sense, one million to pay off creditors. $.12 on the dollar.

I wonder how much the court left for operating expense for the legal case?
