HARRISBURG, Pa. >> Pennsylvania voters have a lot to think about when they hit the polls for Tuesdays primary, including a hotly contested Republican primary for governor.
Also on the card are a five-way race for the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor, a Republican primary to pick who will take on Democratic U.S. Sen. Bob Casey in the fall, House races in the wake of the major redistricting case and a host of open seats in the Legislature.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and elections officials emphasize that the redistricting decision did not change the polling places where anyone in the state will be voting.
GOVERNOR
Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf is running for a second term and is uncontested in Tuesdays primary election. On Tuesdays Republican ballot for the nomination to challenge him in the November election are three people: Scott Wagner, a state senator from York County who has made millions in the waste-hauling industry; Paul Mango, a former health care systems consultant; and Laura Ellsworth, a commercial litigation attorney and former chairwoman of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce.
Both Mango and Ellsworth are first-time candidates from suburban Pittsburgh. Wagner is the partys endorsed candidate.

Wagner is planning to raise taxes, so I voted for Mango.
Real "Liberal" Paul Mango?
Or "Liar" and "Sell Out" Scott Wagner?
Just voted for Mango. Thought he was the “conservative” in this race. Hate to say it but I did not followed this race the way I should have.
I haven’t studied it enough, but was leaning towards Mango. The conversative running for Congress is putting up Mango sings all over Pike County, PA. Though Mango is getting hammered on tv and is down in the polls.
I could be wrong but I think Wagner is the Romney type calling everyone a liberal when he is the real liberal and is carpet bombing the TV. I will be voting for Mango.
Vote Mango.
Wagner is the phony conservative.
And Mango is 82nd Airborne!
This will be my vote: Gov: Paul Mango
Lt Gov: Diana Irey Vaughan (campaigning with Mango)
Congress: John Chrin (conservative, supports Trump)
Wants to drain the swamp with Trump.
We can only hope.
I voted for Chrin on issues. Fellow Scrantonian Peters is too cozy with Dems, and has worked for them most of his life.
I met Wagner. He has the IQ of a Democrap.
Mango is my guy. Both Wagner and Ellsworth have supported many leftists with contributions in the past, including Maobama. Why vote for these simpletons? Ellsworth even voted for Madoff Clinton and gave her a bundle of money. Barletta will easily win today in the Senate race. For LT, I voted for the best, Peg Luksik, even though I don’t think she stands a chance. Irey Vaughn would be acceptable to me as well.
BTW, the PARTY always endorsed progressive clowns like Specter and Barbara Hafer. Both officially became DEMOCRATS, after locals became angered with me and my wife for our non-support of these two Swamp Socialists.
I heard him speak last year. He is a boilerplate bore, with a liberal heart. He also co-sponsored a sick, demented bathroom bill last year.
Mango got two votes from this household..
TIME FOR A CHANGE.
Sadly so many in Rural Pennsylvania don’t bother to vote in Primaries ...smh.
But they will come out and vote in November so lets hope the best is elected today so they get the votes in the Fall...we need to stop the so called ‘blue wave’, otherwise DJT will never get anything approved...
VOTE RED REPUBLICAN...KEEP AMERICA GROWING AND HEALING.

This primary is about Traditional Values and Virtue, versus a toxic relativism that’s gripping America. Not just a battle between candidates, and in this I ask for your vote.
In my campaign I’ve discussed many issues and my stances: pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, reducing the burden of government, ending sanctuary cities, protecting our communities, fighting the opioid crisis, among others.
Many political insiders have come along and made all the right sounds and talking points, but had no real appetite to fix problems. They’ve allowed what we value erode, and allowed the hard leftwing to dominate. We cannot allow the energy that We the People had in 2016 dissipate - we need to come together and vote for what we believe.
Character counts but also so does the Truth and Values. We can’t allow for our political leaders to shift with the winds, or behave inconsistent with what we know is Right. My opponents have been very inconsistent with the people they want to represent. We can’t allow this toxic relativism to take root in an election year as important as this one.
We are at a crossroads of history Pennsylvania, where we can define the future path we will take. I ask for your vote (today), and I ask you to stand firm in your traditions, your values, and your character with me in this endeavor.
