I never said it was the problem in this case. This guy is a drunk and he killed someone because of it.

But texting and driving is just as bad and half the people driving are doing it. It is so ubiquitous that teenage girls now cost more than teenage boys to insure because they are in so many accidents caused by their texting.

It is the new drunk driving.

It is not, it's something different altogether.

For example, when a person stops texting he can be in full control of his vehicle in seconds, something that a drunk, or high, driver can't do.
