Two months before the 2016 election, George Papadopoulos received a strange request for a meeting in London, one of several the young Trump adviser would be offered — and he would accept — during the presidential campaign.
The meeting request, which has not been reported until now, came from Stefan Halper, a foreign policy expert and Cambridge professor with connections to the CIA and its British counterpart, MI6.
Halper’s September 2016 outreach to Papadopoulos wasn’t his only contact with Trump campaign members. The 73-year-old professor, a veteran of three Republican administrations, met with two other campaign advisers, The Daily Caller News Foundation learned.

Papadopoulos told Halper he didn’t know anything about emails or Russian hacking, said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 campaign.
After WikiLeaks published a trove of stolen DNC emails in July 2016, Australian government officials told the FBI about Downer’s interaction with Papadopoulos. The bureau opened its counterintelligence investigation July 31, 2016.
What remains unclear is why Downer sought the meeting with Papadopoulos. Was it to become acquainted with a member of Trump’s foreign policy advisory team, or was it an opportunity to gather intelligence?
Papadopoulos is either a Clinton/ Deep State operative working to sabotage the Trump campaign or one of the most naive people on the planet.
Well, it sure looks like Halper was the spy that CIA / FBI was using, or one of them. That is some clever tradecraft, “you know about the hacking, right?” Is that something they teach at Quantico or The Farm?
If I'm not mistaken, Papadopoulos worked in HRC's State Dept. So, it sounds like the former.
The entire thing stinks. The government operatives involved, and the people behind the attempted coup need to be prosecuted to the fullest extant of the law.

Was/is STEFAN HALPER, the Deep State’s Mole/controller planted on Trump’s team?
Halper is a super mole/controller for the Deep State Elite going back to President Nixon/Ford/Carter/Reagan/The Bushes, Clinton and of course Obama.

My original post said whiskey & soda but I changed it to G&Ts. I had lunch once at Cambridge College, in Keats’ old study. The food was quite good, I was introduced to delicious bread sauce. We probably had wine, I don’t remember. In any case, he looks terrible!
