It ‘s been a long day but a good one. Had to get up early for the monthly Republican Women’s Group meeting so I’m a bit draggy now. LOL
We had a couple of heavy downpours while at the meeting and we got some rain at the farm too .... almost an inch in the gauge. YAY
Was going to stop at the store for cat litter on the way home but the sky was black as pitch. But dang it, it went past to the west. Went to the store a little while ago, after the cats and we had all been fed.
You didn’t get any rain today??? The radar showed stuff moving over your area this afternoon when I looked. Apparently NOAA lied on that one.
If you need it, you need it...and you’ve paid in for a long time.

She said they’ve had a lot of online fraud with applications. It’s the government....you would think they had better cyber security. Then again, it IS the government.
She couldn’t tell me why I was flagged. It would help to know in case I need something to prove something. I’m going to have to make a dry run to find the office and figure out parking and walking if need be. June 14th gives me plenty of time to scope it out.

Apparently lack of communication runs strong, too, since she couldn't tell you why you were flagged. I'd call back - and keep calling back - to get them to find out so if you do need something in hand at your appointment, you'll know what is needed.
But then I can be a real beyotch when it comes to things like this and will hound them until I get results. LOL!

Yes, it was a good meeting but they usually are. Mostly discussed upcoming events we’ll be involved with and fleshed out the plans a little more.
We’re tickled to get the rain we got and there’s a good chance for more tomorrow .... ad the next few days. The two lows have run into each other and stalled each other out, so this will just keep going until they move out or fall apart.
I just wish it was benefitting y’all. You NEED it BAD.

Yes, it was ugly out there, all right, when I was watching the storm chasers. Seeing the huge clouds of dust kicked up by the wind made me cough. LOL
Seeing some of the hail that came down made me cringe. Some if it was downright huge!

I’m thinking 2 years more, MAX...and maybe sooner. I’ve enjoyed my job until fairly recently. I hate change at this stage of my life, and I don’t want to learn any new stuff. Just leave me alone doing what I like. LOL!
But I won’t leave my buds the way things are....we 3 are stressed. Only 2 would be suicide time. LOL!!! Besides, I have to work long enough to pay for a tooth implant. And I need to sign up for Medicare Part A. I think I’ll have the SS lady help...I don’t want any more fraudulent issues.
I will start calling tomorrow....the problem is having to hold forever for someone to come on, and I have to do it at work. But I will start.
Yeah, they are pretty bad about putting people on hold forever. And making you wait forever at the SS office even when you have an appointment. It stinks you have to deal with this mess all over again.
