As Mark Levin frequently says, “the paper that hid the Holocaust”.
Unless there are actual prosecutions of the culpable parties, Comey etc. then they can claim this is just a conspiracy theory. Simple as that.
Another thing the lying left refuses to acknowledge: Trump is under a huge prosecutorial microscope. If any of his so called scandals actually broke the law, Mueller would have walked him to the gallows. Done and done, yet he has virtually given up.
These Cohen leaks and these accusations are all sloppy seconds, Mueller went through all of it and has no crime.
Whatever they accuse Trump of is false, because if it were real Mueller would have pounced and he hasn’t, because he can’t.

I believe Trump won’t be impeached even if the Dems take the House...IF....and that’s a big IF....all of this ‘setup’ stuff comes out completely (I believe Mueller is there to run interference and delay on the criminal behavior evidence of obama DOJ/FBI as long as possible). The nuclear option for Trump is to declassify everything which then would expose the corrupt frame shenanigans of FBI and then the media and Dems can no longer control the Russia collusion narrative and it dies
It is an attempted coup, done with the active involvement and knowledge of the top levels of government, leading right up the the previous President, Barack Obama.
That fantasy of "Trump-Russia Collusion" is done. The New York Times published a lengthy article on Wednesday, 5/16/2018: "Code Name Crossfire Hurricane: The Secret Origins of the Trump Investigation". In this 4,100 word apologia written by (As Mark Levin rightly calls them) "The Holocaust-Denying New York Times" (or by Trump..."The Failing New York Times") is the most obvious and open indication that the Trump-Russia Collusion "Fairy Tale" is finished. It is "Dead Man Walking" right now, and there are only two groups of people who don't know it:
1.) Ill-informed people.
2.) Ideological bitter clingers who can't face the truth.
(Note that I didn't include stupid people as a category. They are simple subsets of one or the other two groups above.)
The fact that the New York Times wrote this lengthy piece, and specifically, the manner in which they wrote it, suggests that they know full well the fantasy is dead, and they are setting the table and doing damage control for the next phase of this.
If you read the New York Times Article, notice the exculpatory language to protect political appointees. The limiting of the scope of the people involved in and the people who knew of and supported the gross abuses of government. (These undercurrents in the article were pointed out quite well by Dan Bongino in his show yesterday)
Equally important, how the Media has handled this significant development which took place yesterday is illustrative, and serves to further delineate the battle lines, where they are drawn, and who is on which side. I don't watch television, but my wife does and she had the NBC Nightly News on, so I took the time to see how this important development regarding the "Paper of Record" would be handled by a major representative of the media...NBC.
It was disappointing, but not at all surprising. They had many teasers as the program opened, the volcano in Hawaii, the North Korean situation, TSA's new watch list, Lyme Disease, Swimming pool water issues, American birth rates, the Royal Wedding, Hawaii volcano erupts, the New Jersey school bus crash, two guys and their bucket list, and life-saving air ambulances hit patients with hefty medical bills.
That is it. There are times that you can tell exactly what is critical to an opponent by listening intently to hear what they don't say, and an enemy STUDIOUSLY AVOIDING something you know is important to them tells you volumes.
In that, I read that they know that house of cards has fallen, or is in the terminal phases of being completely collapsed. So we are leaving one phase (prosecuting Trump and his team for colluding with Russians) to the next phase, which is finding out the depth of the cancer in this egregious abuse of government power against an opposing political party, who was involved, and how they should be punished.
In Winston Churchill's famous "Finest Hour" speech, he says in his closing paragraph:
"What General Weygand called the Battle of France is over. I expect that the Battle of Britain is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilization. Upon it depends our own British life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Empire. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us. Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science. I mean by that, how our nation handles this. If we allow people involved (on both sides of the aisle who may be involved, as Freeper lurkinanloomin opines) to go unpublished, then it will be the same as England rolling over for the Nazis in 1940. We will stop being a Constitutional Republic, and become a Banana Republic. If we do not demand forcible and severe prosecution of these conspirators, we will give the green light to every form of open skulduggery and unpunished abuse of law in our political process, and will be begin the long goodbye to America, or at least grease that skid of the long goodbye on the road to open tyranny.
And I don't think it is engaging in unjustified histrionics to say that.
It may be true that our country could be doomed by the accumulated debt we have incurred, or some other cultural thing and not this. But if this is allowed to go unpunished, it will be the thing that will eventually corrode to destruction our governmental underpinnings and cause this country to fracture in ways that will be far more than cultural.

We left the Constitution behind on Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009 when not one of our appointed or elected would stand for the Constitution.
Barack Obama is NOT a natural born citizen and they ALL knew it.
There is simply no one (Trump excepted) in the District of Corruption who is not culpable for the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
Their culpability has been Obama and minions secret shield all along.

I can’t help thinking we all share culpability for allowing that to happen in 2009.
Knuckling under to the Alinski attacks of “birther” showed the cowardice of many.
She is starting to hint at the Kenyanesian Usurpation and the illegal alien inundation.
Both were intentional.
It could be more than that.
The entire chain of events that led to Saddam Hussein invading Kuwait was odd. The Iraqi dictator was given the impression that America would stand down in the event he attempted to expand his territory.
And consider the timing.
The United States reaction, coming on the heels of the collapse of the Soviet Union, provided a welcome boost to the military-industrial complex.
You mention uninformed voters, and I think one of the decisions arrived at early was that there could not possibly be any “quick” arrests or indictments, that the public had to be thoroughly educated and slowly, methodically brought up to speed on this because in the end this is NOT a “criminal” investigation, but a “political” one.
By that I mean, as we saw with Bill Clinton and Andrew Johnson’s non-convictions for CRIMES THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY AND CLEARLY GUILTY OF, the determination both in 1866 and 1998 was that the public really did not want a president removed for these crimes, even if they were crimes.
In the case of this coup, it is absolutely essential that the public understand what happened, what these criminals were trying to do, and why they must be punished-—and this must be accomplished WITHOUT the help of the fake news media.
So for over a year, Sessions & Horowitz have been methodically building cases, rolling out little bits like the McCabre OIG letter, now the new “demands” from Grassley (which is kabuki). All so the public can be slowly brought to understand what happened.
I can’t stress enough the importance of locating Huber in Utah instead of having this prosecuted in DC. With the 80% democrat jury pool from DC, NoVA and MD, all these peeps would walk away laughing and free.

I am onboard with that approach, and can play the long game. I find it a bit disappointing that there isn’t more support for letting it run its course, but that is human nature.
In this case, fortunately, as tangled and as complicated as it is...I think eventually they will be able to boil it down to a digestible explanation.
But boy, is there ever a lot of info, people and connections.
