People in TN have a longstanding tradition of picking very poor senators.
Many states have execrable Communists. Lil Boob has been a buffoon. Wealthy leftists can just write a check to buy a Senate seat. It doesn’t help having open primaries where the biggest RINO wins and no runoffs. Things will be different this year, though. But we still need to close those damn primaries.
