I got a ZTE smartphone as a gift a while back. I stream religious radio programs on it; guess that’s not what the Chicoms want to hear while listening in.

Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo....

There is plenty of reliable, verifiable, open source reporting on the malware, exploits, and vulnerabilities they deliberately build into their products on behalf of the Chinese government.

They do price there products dirt cheap, so as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted.

I realize that many of the components for most of our electronic systems are manufactured in China. However, there are proven methodologies for companies to ensure that what is manufactured, regardless as to where it is manufactured, is identical to what the company ordered without the malicious features being added.

Not sure, but the separate story on Q videos has ex-Senator Hillary and the coup plotters having used these phones.
