You have touched on the biggest question of all. Who is Jeff Sessions?Is he running an undercover sting on hundreds of bad guys with previously empanneled grand juries and ready to spring the trap door at almost any moment or is he something else.
The question remains and there are many on both sides.

Well stated Rod. For a while we may have thought That things were different and we had two parties. No chance as you have summarized this was musical chairs with seats for everyone if you fit into the club. Then change the game with the introduction of Barry O as the next step into destruction of anything relating to true representation and we now see how far the Cabal truly owns what was conceived to be ours. Stones says his associates, many of them young, have been terrorized by Mueller and his team, and Mueller is certainly apt to conjur a crime against Stone, yes, as revenge for Stone being outspoken.
Stone cites NYT story from 2017 that asserts Stone was under a FISA warrant, which required that a US target be suspected of a crime.
Toad wants to know if Stone had advance notice of Podesta emails being suspected. Stone repeats the tweet that the press misrepresents. THE Podestas are engaged in shady deals.
Toad shows Stone tweets before October 7 that indicate Stone knew in advance that Wikileaks had Hillary stuff. stone say yeah, Assange said he had that stuff, in public, back in June. Stone repoeats that he has answered these questions to Toad, multiple times before. Stone says, follow JA tweets, and everything Stone predicted is contained in JA tweets. Stone didn;t get anything from any other source.
Toad want to know if JA has anything to do with Russia. Stone says he doesn’t believe the DNC was hacked.
Toad closes with questions about the Trump / Cohen relationship.
Next up, Schiff.
What is your reaction to Stone’s denials? Schiff says Stone either lied to the committee or to NBC. Schiff says Congress should have got a subpoena to get Stone’s private messages with JA. Schiff thinks Stone was dealing with the Russians and was involved in JA leak.
Asks why didn’t Mueller interview Stone, Trump, Jr., Parsqaule ... Schif says maybe those people are targets of Mueller’s investigation.
What about the controversy over FBI informant. When did you become aware? Schiff says revealing the ID will compromise people’s lives, compromise the investigation, etc. Trump and Nunes say they don;t care, this is a new and desctructive low. Disclosing FBI activity against Trump is a self-serving move. Schiff says it is nonsense that the FBI had a spy in the Trump campaign. The accusation is destructive to our institutions.
Why shouldn’t Trump supporters be suspicious, this guy was doing political dirty tricks in 1980.
Schiff - meritless accusation that the FBI was spying. It is an alternate reality. Toad plants the story, FBI acted appropriately.
Shift subject to a new anti-Trump accusation involving Eric Price, George Nader. This just shows how willing and eager Trump was, to solicit and receive foreign assistance in election campaign.

What ever happened to the Server, at the center of so much Corruption, that the Democratic National Committee REFUSED to hand over to the hard charging (except in the case of Democrats) FBI? They broke into homes & offices early in the morning, but were afraid to take the Server?
