A prominent human rights activist is suing two of the founders of Fusion GPS and several Venezuelan businessmen under a statute usually associated with the Mafia.
Thor Halvorssen, the president of the Human Rights Foundation, claims that Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch, two former Wall Street Journal reporters who founded Fusion, engaged in a conspiracy to retaliate against him for blowing the whistle on one of Fusions clients, a Venezuelan power plant company called Derwick Associates.
The two Fusion founders were hired to produce a dossier and a media campaign to depict Halvorrsen as a pedophile, heroin addict, and embezzler of the Foundations money, reads Halvorssens lawsuit, which he filed under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) statute.

Halvorssen claims that Fusion GPS targeted him on behalf of Derwick because of an investigation he started in 2011 into Derwicks contracts with the Venezuelan government. Halvorssen, who was born in Venezuela, says he uncovered a multi-billion dollar kickback scheme involving Derwick executives and Venezuelan officials.
But the Clinton Foundation hasn’t been the subject of a RICO action. Yet.
Grind them into dust.
Either they changed their ethical standards when they formed this company, or this is what their standards have been at the Wall Street Journal.
I’m running seriously low on popcorn and I need more screens to keep up with all this.
Excellent! Simpson needs to be hanged next to Brennan.
Soros company?
By the way , this is how islam started, with writers for hire of the Kalif who started writing all kinds of crap. Fakenews wages are kalifatic like death
There are a great many people around these days who don’t have enough of any degree of significance to do.
Its good to remember that Fusion was on contract to the Russians and DNC at the same time. And a spouse of Fusion’s “Russia” expert was one of the main DOJ guys in the Russia investigation.
This allowed Russians, DNC, and DOJ (but I repeat myself) to be in the same building at the same time. Its all rather incestuous. It also makes me wonder how much they took in from Russia, and how the $9 million they took from DNC got divided up.
