The Rohingya military group Arsa carried out deadly massacres and abductions of the Hindu community in Myanmar’s Rakhine state last year, a new report by Amnesty International has revealed.
Testimony collected by Amnesty from dozens of witnesses and survivors of the attacks in Rakhine in August have detailed how up to 99 Hindu men, women and children were killed by Arsa militants armed with knives, swords and sticks. Only those who agreed to convert to Islam were spared.
They rounded up all 69 Hindu men, women, and children, before executing 53 of them. Some who agreed to convert from Hinduism to Islam were freed.
Raj Kumari, 18, who witnessed the attack, told Amnesty: “They slaughtered the men. We were told not to look at them. They had knives. They also had some spades and iron rods. We hid ourselves in the shrubs there and were able to see a little. My uncle, my father, my brother – they were all slaughtered.”
Another witness, Formila, 20, told Amnesty that the Arsa fighters had taken the men away to kill them, then “came back with blood on their swords, and blood on their hands”.
She said: “I saw men holding the heads and hair [of the women] and others were holding knives. And then they cut their throats.”

In India the Hindus have always given as well or better than they got when attacked by Muslims.

This is the weird Muslim sect that was making headlines around the world because they had been kicked out of their homes and no other country would take them.
The story was presented in isolation, as if for some strange reason these poor people (only women, children, and old men were shown in the press coverage) were being treated so badly, possibly for reasons involving racism.

In 1991, Aung San Suu Kyi (who has aged well, by the way), won the NOBLE PEACE PRIZE for her opposition to the military, who was running the country, which essentially forced her to never leave the country (or, if she did, she’d never get back in).
So when the latest band of the Religion of Peace raised hell in their territories, and were then driven out by the Burma Government, one WOULD have expected her to take the side of the terrorists (i.e.., the Muslims).
...But SHE DID NOT. She supported her government, essentially saying what we here already know about these ‘aggrieved’ people.

The Hindu Bengalis are a tiny minority in the Rakhine state, unlike Buddhists as a whole in Myanmar or Hindus as a whole in India. Hence they will not be able to "give it back"

"Rakhine" state in Myanmar is in the western part of Myanmar,along the border with Bangladesh ("bangla-desh" = "bengali-land" where Bengalis are an ancient nation (2500+ years of history))
Many Bengalis converted to Izlam during Turco-Mongol rule (14th to 18th century) but a sizable hindu population remained
During British colonial times Bengalis were sent to Rakhine state and many remained. At the same time the British split up the Bengalis into hindus to the west (West Bengal) and Muslims to the east (East Bengal) -- later East Bengal became part of Pakistan and remained part of Pakistan until 1971 when the west Pakistanis committed genocide against their muslim brethren and Bangladesh fought and gained independence)
Anyway, so the Bengalis in Rakhine state aren't natives but the Muslims among them started calling themselves Rohingya. The Myanmarese call them "Bengalis"
They are all Sunni Muslims (the Hindus and Christians don't call themselves Rohingya) and now they are a sub-sect of Sunnis call Wahabbis -- Saudi version of Sunni Islam - the Saudis, thanks to money gained by selling oil to the west have funded the spread of Wahabbism in Afghanistan (Taliban, Al Qareda), Somalia (Al Shabab), nigeria (Boko haram), Palestine (Hamas), Pakistan, Indonese, the USA etc.
and she was savaged by the Western media for that.

Yep, she was savaged - they wanted to take away her Nobel...rather than even consider the fact that she just might have a point.
It still ASTOUNDS me that a certain ‘religion’ can run around beheading people, throwing them off rooftops, start wars with their neighbors on a regular basis, fly airplanes into buildings, mutilate young girls, force young girls to ‘marry’ guys 4 times their age...and still be a ‘victim’ group.
And it’s all due to Western Leftists, the people Trump and other Republicans are supposed to ‘find common ground’ and ‘reach across the aisle’ to.
