When tragedy struck a Newtown, Connecticut community five and a half years ago, an unimaginable nightmare unfolded while the country looked on in horror.
During a roughly 10 minute period, the native Chicagoans exchanged seven messages two days following the massacre, in which Mayor Emanuel, who had previously served as President Barrack Obama’s chief of staff, advised Secretary Duncan on what position he should take on the Sandy Hook shootings.
At 6:57PM EST on December 16, 2012, Duncan wrote to Emanuel in a message titled “CT shootings.”
Duncan asked the Chicago mayor, “What are your thoughts?”
Five minutes later, Emanuel responded, “Go for a vote this week before it fades. Tap peoples emotion. Make it simple assault weapons.”
Duncan responded immediately, “Yup- thanks.”
It was two days after the shooting, when Emanuel and Duncan collaborated on a message.

Same old “Never let a crisis go to waste.” scenario is pretty obvious. Screw the vicims, there already gone so use the emotional pain work.
Mayor Emanuel should be Inmate Emmanuel, never let a good human tragedy go to waste.

And you can best your last dollar that if this email had come from some Republican somewhere the corrupt MSM would be going wall-to-wall in (appropriate) outrage, but because it came from the home team... nothing, guaranteed.
The only shocking thing about this is that it was actually made public. We all know this is how they thiMk.
Bathing in the blood of the slain for the purpose of destroying civil rights. These people are monsters who should be exiled. They are not fit to breathe the air of American liberty.
I think that I'll find something to read that was written by someone who has an inkling of what the hell they're talking about.
Do these people have any feelings of sadness, revulsion, or any emotion at all in response to such events? Or is it all about political posturing, and all about gaining some political advantage?
They have no feelings, except joy at the success of the tyrants they wish they could be.
We know this happens all the time but HOW did someone in the MSM decide to print it?
Our Florida representatives fell for this irrational emotional appeal and rush to do something quickly. Now, we can no longer trust Republicans. Governor Scott has turned into a Democrat “Light” and has lost my support. Even our local Collier County representatives and senators caved on the emotion associated with the Parkland shooting and voted for new gun control measures. Sadly they ignored the failure of law enforcement personnel to do their duty. I am hoping for conservative alternatives but unfortunately do not see any in sight.
Getting fewer and farther between.
