Noblesville Indiana. School is about 5 miles due east of where I am. From about 12 on I went to Noblesville schools. That school has 80% upper middle class students, 5% rural and the rest are a combination of middle class with a smattering of section 8. Even the section 8 place is safe. The school is new construction as in not more than 10 years old. School draws students from a pretty nice lakeside area with golf courses galore. Had that school been built when I was a middle schooler I would have gone to it.

Good observation! And I’d add three other conditions:

4. Heavy into Internet and/or Gaming

5. Native-born

6. White

So I’d say it’s almost always gonna be at least four out of the six.

(Note: Maybe teenaged black and immigrant males don’t often shoot up their schools because they get enough thrills from off-campus shootings?)

I am surprised more people don’t try to attack the attacker. It really is the only hope they would have because if you just stand or hide the attacker is going to kill you.
