Not that you could tell. I think they’re fire-breathing but fairly mild-mannered when it comes to risking their own skins. That’s why GI’s only encountered tens of thousands of foreign jihadists in Iraq. In Syria, the Alawite regime is openly slaughtering Sunnis. Alawites are viewed as apostates even more deserving of a swift execution than Christians and Jews, who are people of the Book. And yet, the number of foreign Muslims is numbered, at most in the tens of thousands.

No question that that they’re fairly immoderate in their views. But at the same time, apart from a minuscule minority, their instincts for self-preservation are more highly-developed than those of the average non-Muslim.
