79th & Western used to be a really nice neighborhood. From 79th & Damen all the way to 87th and Western were tree lined streets, stores resturants, etc.
Someone’s going to die fighting over that last chicken wing.

Well, it’s the Memorial Day Weekend, and as a consequence, they’ve got one more day to try and set a record!
I was at the original Rainbow Cone on Western Ave. last summer. Wow has that area changed.
And no endless, wall to wall coverage from the leftist media because it was most likely black people killing other black people. This does not fit the narrative that the leftist media wants to use to stock the politics for gun control and eventually gun confiscation.

Fond memories of a burger and a smoke at Miss Muffett’s, just about a block east on 79th. Of course that was a different time, when I could ride the bus all the way to Stony, even through some pretty dicey neighborhoods - well, as long as it wasn’t late at night.

I should have qualified my response that I can’t see why any sane person would stay in Chicago.
