Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing On IG Report, June 5

The Senate Judiciary Committee announced Tuesday evening (29 May) it will be holding a hearing on the Inspector General’s report on June 5th. The hearing will be live-streamed on the judiciary.senate.gov website.

...Sources are saying the report on the FBI’s 7th floor under Comey’s Directorship is absolutely damning and “worse than expected.”

James Gagliano, a retired FBI agent who left the bureau in 2015 said buckle up because the IG report will be very damning.

He has already told the Chairman of that committee in writing that he has assigned Senior Federal Prosecutors (note the plural), headed by US Attorney John Huber - and that they have been working since sometime before 13 November 2017.

Congress *could* demand that Sessions and Rosenweasel appear and explain themselves. Congress has powers it rarely uses regarding contempt, including the ability to arrest and prosecute.

The first step will be for members of the committee to make criminal referrals based on the IG’s report.

I hope this means the report will have been released BEFORE the hearing and that we have learned enough to be able to make sense of it..

I will believe it when it happens. I remember so clearly when Bill Clinton sat before the grand jury , though in the White House. We did not see it for a few days. Rumors were that he turned red in the face, got angry, almost stomped out. Instead he was as cool as a cucumber. He answered very few questions, slow answering each for a long time, taking a few soft drink breaks. It was three hours of the definition of is.

I hope this will be different.
