They canceled the last hearing because the report was delayed. Of course, the hearing will come after the DOJ IG Report is released.
Look time is short now. We have many FRiends who predicated over and over and over ad nauseum that nothing would happen. Again, they predict now, nothing will happen.
Except, it’s happening.
Criminal referrals will follow and the Summer of Indictments begins.

Look, I understand the frustration, but we are all more/less on the same side here. The difference is the degree of patience we have and how much trust we have that Trump’s team is doing the right thing, even given the fact that few if any of us have any notion of how long it takes for a complete, thorough, and airtight investigation to be done.
90% of the posts on this subject are pure personal opinion based on nothing. Why not just wait and swatch and see what happens? It’s not like the opinions of anonymous commenters makes any difference anyway.

He has already told the Chairman of that committee in writing that he has assigned Senior Federal Prosecutors (note the plural), headed by US Attorney John Huber - and that they have been working since sometime before 13 November 2017.
What has Alfred E. Sessions got to show for his efforts since 3/17?

Committee Chairman Grassley is a long time colleague of Sessions. They have exchanged a series of public letters, where Sen Grassley referred matters for investigation, and later requested a Special Counsel. He seemed pleased with Sessions response in March, where he revealed that he had prosecutors working on Grassley’s concerns, since last year. They have just been quiet about it.
Rosenstein is a different matter. it will be interesting to see what comes out about him.

I don’t think it is related. I think that it has been scheduled to build up over the Summer, and sweep the midterm elections.

One big deal, is if they find that the investigation into Hillary’s email server (the subject of this report) was shut down inappropriately (pretty obvious) - then that investigation should be re-opened. If so, it may have already been going on in secret for months already.
So it may end up damning Hillary and others down the road.
In theory, you’re correct. I am trying to keep an open mind about this and tje results we’re going to see. I pray there is a semblance of equal justice under the law. I haven’t any idea when the next IG report is expected. This is just the first.
I expect before Friday. Oy, my nerves!
