Mitt Romney made no secret of his criticism of Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, but until now, he had not publicly revealed who he voted for: his wife, Ann.
"I wrote in the name of a person who I admire deeply, who I think would be an excellent president," the Utah US Senate candidate told the Deseret News and KSL editorial boards Wednesday.
Romney said he realized his vote "wasn't going to go anywhere, but nonetheless felt that I was putting in a very solid name."

Sad that latest poll (I’ve read) has Romney at 66%. Kennedy 26%. Looks like Romney is a shoe-in. Had hoped for far more conservative candidate from Utah.
We’ll see what happens. If we don’t get a wall, I don’t think Trump will have been substantially different, for all the sound and fury, than Romney *might* have been — Romney is a social lib but he probably would have been alright economically. If Romney had won in 2012 the military wouldn’t be falling apart with ever increasing SJW bullshit and girls in combat arms, for example.

For the only time in my life, I wish I lived in Utah, just so I could write in my dead cat’s name, in their Senate primary. He used to throw cat litter all over the floor, and tried to bite us if we came home late, but I’d want to vote for someone I could trust, so...
