I stumbled across that conspiracy theory as I was wandering YouTube and couldn’t believe it. I thought conspiracy mongering had hit its low with the 9/11 truther idiocy, but I was wrong. And once I had viewed that moronic video, of course it suggested others that were similar, which opened my eyes to how truly stupid many, particularly the Millennials, have become.

I suspect some of these conspiracy videos are just concocted by scammers who want to take advantage of the pathetically gullible (of which, judging by the video comments, there are many) in order to fish for views, but others are clearly posted by true believers. Regardless, the number of commenters on the videos who buy into this crap is scary.

I also read an executive summary of a study that stated children who had overbearing mothers and weak fathers had a higher incidence of homosexuality.

Overbearing, controlling, manipulative mothers were blamed in the mid-20th century. Afterwards more blame was put on the weak or absent or "shadowy" fathers.

Nowadays, it's easier for young people to "discover" that they're homosexual. There's a lot of exposure to sex and pornography and those who don't respond to the opposite sex are more likely to conclude that they're homosexual early on.

I think parents today tend to correspond less to the old stereotypes. You can point to the mother as "overbearing" or the father as "shadowy" or ineffectual, but it takes a lot less of that to make boys homosexual nowadays. So even in families who take care to avoid the old behaviors, children grow up gay.

Around puberty, or even years before, kids feel attraction to one gender or the other. You (plural to all FReepers) did. Not every child is attracted to the opposite sex, even if they were never groomed or molested by either sex.

Face it. Attraction is NOT a choice at that age. A boy who wants another boy to kiss him, the way you may have wanted a cute girl to kiss you, didn’t choose it, wasn’t forced into it.

You are correct. I’ve been involved with SNAP and many adult men who were molested by priests or authority figures as children ARE NOTHING BUT STRAIGHT. They often have problems with relationships or even sex, some have a hard time relaxing, letting go, etc. but they are as heterosexual as you. Being molested by a man didn’t make them want men.

Heterosexual people who are molested / have sex with/ the same sex find out that you don’t die from it and the body can “perform” in it. Even if you have zero attraction to the same sex. Many prisoners find this out. Many probably close their eyes and pretend it is the opposite sex doing the act. It doesn’t change their orientation.

Imagine you were drugged like the woman described today with Bill Cosby. She was still conscious but unable to control her body or her voice. And he has sex with her against her will, and she could do nothing but lie there. This COULD happen to you. Would you be attracted to men forever more after that experience????
