More than a month ago, a Delano couple died when they crashed their truck while fleeing from immigration agents. The man and woman, who were in the country illegally, had not been the intended target of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Officials later said that the agents were trying to arrest another man and that Santos Hilario Garcia, who died in the crash, matched the description of their target.
On Wednesday, ICE arrested and deported the person they had been after: the dead man’s brother, Celestino Hilario Garcia.
Celestino Hilario Garcia was leaving his apartment complex in a car with his wife and a neighbor when he was arrested by ICE deportation officers, according to the United Farm Workers Foundation, which has been working with the family. His wife and four children remain in Delano.

It is outrageous that the LA Times is blaming ICE for the deaths of these illegal invaders.

In an interview with The Times in April, Celestino blamed ICE for their deaths.
"It was his car, it was in his name. If I lent him my car, then it's my fault," Celestino said. "It was his car. His car…. They had time to check the plates."
Plates? You are ILLEGAL! You should not even be in this country. You cannot even legally OWN the car here! It isn't registered. And the fact that California gives you ILLEGALS drivers licenses is an outrage.
"We're not animals, we're people," Celestino said. "They want to clean their hands of this, but it's not going to be that easy."
Just what does ICE have "clean their hands" for? You and your family BROKE our laws. You ran from the police on a high speed chase. And if an American family and children were mowed down due to your high speed chase, no one in the "immigrant rights community" or the corrupt media would care at all.
The deaths resulted in protests, with some Delano officials and residents blaming ICE and the Trump administration for being too aggressive in their crusade against illegal immigration. ICE has blamed the deaths on California's "sanctuary" policies, which the agency says put it in a position to target, and sometimes arrest, immigrants without legal status who were not initially sought for removal.
Thaaaat's right. It's all the fault of Trump, for enforcing our immigration laws.
The GoFundMe campaign said that the couple had just dropped off their daughter at school and were on their way to look for work when the deportation officers attempted to stop them.
Oh yeah, I'll be contributing to this Mexcian's "Go Fund Me Campaign." Sure. By the way, the school you were "dropping off" your daughter is funded by US Taxpayers. Not Mexico.

I guess we, as American Citizens, should set up GoFundMe campaigns in foreign countries. I'd like $53,000 from Mexican citizens, because your invaders once smashed the windows of my car and robbed me.

you do not have the right to flee the law. that is true for American citizens as well as illegal aliens
There was an easy way to avoid all this in the first place. But they continued to live here illegally.
Isn’t Go fund me funds essentially a gift taxable at the highest rate?
But I’m certain they are compliant in every other way.
