Their hairless, pink pets were ignorant beasts. “Planet” apes are not in any way comparable to orangutangs. Jarret’s appearance is not dissimilar from the female ape lead actress in “Planet.” J’s morality, however, does resemble that of the pink, hairless critters in “Planet.”
