EU will 'dig its own grave' if it tries to punish Italy over new anti-Europe coalition, warns US billionaire George Soros as he calls for compensation for the country's influx of migrants

US financier said Italy's situation 'unfair and also financially very burdensome'

Sicily is one of the main landing points for refugees crossing the Med to Europe

Soros said rise of Italy's right wing League party partly due to Europe's 'flawed' migration policies

Billionaire philanthropist George Soros has urged the EU to compensate Italy for its influx of migrants.

The Hungarian-born US financier said the recent rise of Italy's right wing League party - now in a coalition government with the populist Five Star movement - was partly due to Europe's 'flawed' migration policies that 'imposed an unfair burden' on the country.

He also warned the EU it will 'dig its own grave' if it tries to 'teach Italy a lesson' amid the political turmoil in the country and fails to appease Italy's new Eurosceptic government.

Italy has become the focal point for Mediterranean migration in recent years with more than 700,000 migrants arriving in the country since 2013.

Soros said refugees were now no longer able to move on to northern Europe and the situation Italy found itself in was 'unfair and also financially very burdensome'.

The 87-year-old hedge fund owner, writing in Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper, said: 'Until recently, most refugees could move on to northern Europe, where they wanted to go.

'But since September 2015, both France and Austria closed their borders and the rescued migrants were stuck in Italy.

'This situation was not only unfair but also financially very burdensome at a time when Italy was economically lagging behind most other European countries.

'That was the main reason why Lega Nord, in particular, did so

My though exactly.

Given he’s a globalist this makes no sense unless..............he’s long Italian sovereign bonds. Then the last thing he wants is exit talk.

The new Italian government wants to ship the bastards back to jihadistan. Soros is trying to prevent that.

Create a problem. Advocate more money thrown at problem. Manipulate currency. Make a bundle. That’s the Nazi collaborator ‘s modus operandi.

This new drama being played out in Italy....revolves around parties which are drawn to anti-migration and it’s pretty good odds that a full-blown crisis is being developed for 2019/2020.

Add in BREXIT and the likely nature that an agreement will not occur in time. Add the possibility that the Tommy Robinson business will collapse the May government and force an odd election. Add in the Merkel troubles with the scandal that developed in recent weeks with it’s migration agency. Toss in the fact that Germany won’t meet its NATO obligation and the US likely starts to pull troops out in 2019/2020. The list goes on and on.

I think Soros has a long-term goal of collapsing the Euro stability.

“Billionaire philanthropist George Soros”

Now there’s a contradiction in terms if I ever saw one!

Hitler lives on in the person of George Soros (who is, in reality Gyorgi Schwartz, a Capo who changed his name)

Soros funded NGOs had boats off the coast of Africa, directing them in how to enter Europe, and advising Italian Coast Guard where migrant boats were for pick up.

George Soros knows this globalist, progressive, NWO scheme is only funded by massive debt, in printed, unbacked currencies, courtesy of central banks.

The ECB needs to continue to bail out the Italian Government with bond monetization, while financial repression against Italian workers and savers must continue as well.

There is no easy way out of this political and economic contradiction.

When you become wealthy enough, meddling in other people’s business is called “philanthropy”.

“When you become wealthy enough, meddling in other people’s business is called “philanthropy”.”

Then you have guys like The Cock Brothers, to whom the world is just a place to pick people’s pockets to keep your own wallet flush. Watching these people you begin to understand why there are occasional revolutions. They “hide behind Democracy” while not believing in it at all.

Right you are. Soros sees his one-world vision being threatened by the new Italian government. So he just wants to keep a lid on things here, and play for time.

Eventually the current Italian government will fall (they always do). And then Soros can work behind the scenes to replace it with an EU puppet.

I would love to see Italexit before Brexit is even finished. I hope and pray that the globalist elitists will push Italy too hard and trigger the right response.

The Italians have the courage to make Italy great again. They will inspire others in Europe to get rid of the “migrants” and the oppressive EU government.

His angle is that the EU countries north of Italy must be forced to accept the immigrants that land in Italy. That what he means by “failed”.

Reads to me like Soros is trying to tell Brussels to continue using the carrot, more bribes, instead of the stick, withdrawing monetary support.
