I had a couple of discussions with more liberal people about the anthem protests.
In the discussions, I concede the point that the players have freedom of speech and all of that. But I also told these people that, #1, at most places of employment you can’t just make political statements like that, and #2, if the issue is that the players think something is wrong with this country, then nobody would ever stand for the anthem, because almost everyone thinks there are certain things wrong with this country.
And I told them I think there are some things wrong with this country but I still stand proudly for the anthem. The liberal takes I spoke to had no comeback for that.
Just wanted to put my two cents in on this issue. And see if anyone else sees my point. Because if we speak also concede that the players think things are wrong with this country, all of us think there are things wrong with this country. So then why do the players views of what’s wrong with this country somehow take priority over the rest of us, and our opinions?
That and the whole premise of BLM and the player protests are predicated on lies.
If you struggle with a LEO for his gun, you deserve to get your head blown off.
Also, search on The Color of Crime .pdf (amren).
Shocking analysis based of government crime statistics.
That is what needs to be addressed, rampant violent crime in the black community of their own making.
I know I can't think of three.
>> So then why do the players views ... take priority over the rest of us
Greed.
