President Trump appeared to forget the lyrics to “God Bless America” during a White House event Tuesday meant to prove how patriotic he is.
Trump was caught on video singing every other word to the national hymn as a military chorus boomed behind him. On three occasions, Trump gave up singing all together and let the uniform-clad men around him do the vocalizing.
A White House spokesman did not return a request for comment from the Daily News.
The last-minute “Celebration of America” event was put together after Trump cancelled a planned ceremony to honor the Philadelphia Eagles on their Super Bowl win because he said they “disagree” with him on whether or not athletes should stand for the national anthem.

I well remember President Obama referring to the Marine Corps as the "The Marine Corpse," with nary a word from all the Main Stream Media. Only on conservative media was this reported. On the other hand perhaps Obama really meant Corpse.
During events like this, the President is wearing an earphone. He may have been receiving messages at the time and had to stop ‘talking’ to be able to ‘listen’.
