Colbert grills Bill Clinton: You are the most famous example of workplace sexual misconduct
The Hill ^ | 06/06/18 | John Bowden

CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert grilled former President Clinton on Tuesday about his recent comments about Monica Lewinsky and the #MeToo movement.

Colbert asked Clinton why he appeared surprised by questions about the Lewinsky affair during a recent interview, claiming that the incident was the most famous example of workplace sexual misconduct.

"You seemed surprised that that question would come up," he asked on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." "That somehow, this had all been adjudicated in the past and that there was no reason to talk about it again, when it seems that the spirit of the #MeToo movement is that it doesn't matter how long ago it happened.

"It seemed tone-deaf to me," Colbert continued, "because you seemed offended to be asked about this thing when, in all due respect sir, your behavior was the most famous example of a powerful man sexually misbehaving in the workplace of my lifetime.

"Why are you surprised?" he asked the former president.

Etc...

Isn't it funny how liberals can laugh at the sexual abuse of women?

Liberal msm continue to give liberals forums to excuse their behavior.

BTW have you seen any feminists or #metoo girls viscously condemning Bill Clinton yet?

I’m certain Colbert supported Clinton back then, and supports him now. He’s just helping Bill do some proper penance so he can put these past few days behind him.

Bill Clinton, “The hashtag (#) sign, is actually the pound sign. So, what the ladies are actually saying, is Pound Me Too. So, I was ahead of my time.”

The orders have gone out to the DNC Communications Division (aka the media) to diminish the Clinton’s and get them out of the spotlight.

I think Clinton is trying to stay relevant for fundraising purposes so that they can retain “power” when facing upcoming criminal charges related to the emails. What I think is revealing is that the Left Wing media is actually asking these questions for the first time in 2 decades - that tells me Bill and Hillary’s time is up, the media has abandoned them, no more kid gloves.

DNC decoder ring: “You and Hillary retire and we will let you retire in peace, don’t even consider running in 2020”

It would seem that the Left is trying to drive a wooden stake into the Clintons. They want to be rid of them and their baggage.

Now, Colbert will almost certainly become a greasy spot on the road somewhere along Route 3 in NJ.

On the contrary, I would encourage him to hang out there.

I agree. For Colbert to say this sort of thing, you know that there’s a powerful element on the left that is completely over the Clintons. After 3 long decades, the machine is finally history. For the left, the Clintons’ unforgivable sin is not Bill’s shoddy treatment of women. Rather, the unpardonable sin is Hilary’s losing to Trump.

Colbert is attempting to not appear a hypocrite. It is difficult for him. But he had his lines written very carefully and he acted them well. Colbert is ALWAYS about Colbert. He is intensely interested in appearing superior.

Note that Clinton is never ever asked about all his abject rapes. Note that “brave” low ratings Colbert carefully asked about the most willing of Clinton’s famous victims. Monica WANTED TO GET A PRESIDENTIAL NOTCH ON HER BELT. She was a victim in the way it was handled, she might have first made the news by her “untimely suicide,” but she saved the semen-stained dress. But note that no one on the propaganda left dares ask Clinton to apologize to Juanita or Kathleen or any other rape victims. They ask him to apologize to the workplace inappropriate relationship that was mutual.

As if Clinton was “merely” a boss that fell prey to a hot little secretary flashing her thong panties at him once.

He has been a serial rapist, violent sexual predator, and at least post Presidency a pedophile. Colbert got to play “brave” and at the same time shield the image of Clinton from that thing all Clintons hate: the truth.
