A seemingly odd fireman is fighting fires in Guatemala—Israel. Even before Guatemala’s Vulcan del Fuego resumed its restless sleep Sunday evening, Israel issued emergency aid from its embassy including $10,000 for medical purchases. The pyroclastic flow that erupted from Vulcan del Fuego slammed into the village of El Rodeo at the base of the volcano, killing at least 69. Due to the close proximity of the volcano to Guatemala City, some 1.7 million people have been affected. In response to the tragedy, President Jimmy Morales declared three days of national mourning.

Coming soon: DHS unleashes a brand new "Temporary Protected Status" for Guatemalan illegal aliens -- 99.9% of whom will have had NO adverse effect from the volcano.

And 20 years from now it will remain in place. We are the #1 chumps on Earth.

That is a fantastic article. I learned a lot of important stuff. I will have to find out if the Salvation Army is on the ground down there. If so, I’ll definitely donate; same as with Samaritan’s Purse.

Food for the Poor have been active on the ground in Guatemala for years. They are better situated than probably anyone to provide immediate lifesaving aid. If you want to help, send them some money.

Just don’t donate to the Red Cross.

They’re bad people.

I agree about the red cross. Salvation Army and Samaritan’s Purse give more bang for the buck. Plus they both do what they do with the love of God inherent.
