Could California pastors be charged with a crime for using Christian doctrine to help someone leave homosexuality? This could be the case if a new Golden State bill, AB 2943, becomes law. Making matters worse, some critics claim it could even be used to impede sales of the Bible.

Never pass Constitutional muster.

Oh yeah we should invade it. With weapons more powerful than our mortal nukes, for those can only kill the body. They cannot slay Satan.

Sin has a way of selling itself, to those who aren’t prepared to face it in enough power to tell it to depart.

However, with Masterpiece, the Christian legal case was strengthened.

You are correct. If there was one holding from that case, it is that the the state MUST give deference to, and treat as valid, a sincerely held religious belief. SJWs in positions of power cannot dismiss a religious doctrine as an extension of the Nazis. That was made very clear by seven justices of the SCOTUS.

The Court also thought it had to go “awwwww” about the LGBT crowd, but at least it said so far that it wasn’t going to force Christian faith to be what it is not.

And in a way... the church should also go “awwwww” about the LGBT crowd, but not in such a way as to tell them that their sin is the way to go in order to get ultimate fulfillment. There generally are a lot of horror stories behind most LGBT lives. It’s rare for a person of reasonable upbringing to sit in a chair, cogitate deeply, and say Ah! I’m going to be “gay.” If it happens, it is not the case that Christians want to concentrate on. That person may well wend his or her way to hell on his or her own. But how about the 99.99% that are the rest?

So trying to help someone change which gender they are attracted to is malpractice. But multilating their privates, giving them hormones, and encouraging their delusion this chaanges their actual gender is progressive and liberating?

Does that mean he expects the Mohammedan faith community to “evolve with the times” also?

If these people who are pushing this perversion do not repent, they will face an extremely angry Christ Who will cast them into the eternal flames.

Sin angers Him on general principle, but hindering people from coming to Him is something He especially hates and if it involves children, it is expressly singled out for an exceptionally severe judgement.

Read Matt.18:6 and Luke 17:2.
