I remember Ted Cruz at the Republican convention.
Trump graciously gave him a prime speaking spot and Cruz used it tell his TV audience to “vote your conscence”.
Immediately, as could only happen through prior coordination, the Democrats were using vote your conscience as their main talking point.
Cruz did all he could to help sabotage the Trump campaign and try to get Hillary Clinton elected.
Now, Cruz is praising Trump.

Did you really read it that way? I read it has a heaping helping of self-praise with a small side order of mostly indirect Trump praise.
As I recall Trump made some very unkind remarks about Cruz and his wife and father. Attacking someone policies or beliefs is one thing but to make unfounded and rather ugly accusations about one family is something totally different. But I also recall Cruz making phone calls for trump durning the election. Go Figure.
