Hey, there, radu!
Good to see you tonight! Saw your post last night, or rather early this morning and I was too sleepy to let it register. LOL!
Hope you had a good day! Bummer you didn’t get to work at the museum yesterday after driving all that way! They need to give you a key!
Good day although cool and we've had a series of thunderstorms pass through here again dumping a bunch of rain on us. Suppose to warm up and dry out as the week progresses.
Not much happening here, how about your way?
Dilly Dilly!
Howdy, LUV.
Sounds like we were both a bit on the brain-dead side last night. LOL! Mine functioned just enough to post a few tunes, then the wind was gone from the sails.
It’s been a quiet day here but a good one. We had a storm blow through, which I slept through, and it wasn’t too terribly hot the rest of the day. Still soupy though.
Yeah, I was bummed yesterday about not getting to work at the museum. But everything will be waiting to be done when they open back up again.
How are things down your way?
Oooo! Lucky you with all those thunderstorms and cool weather!
We had a storm pass through today but I slept through it. DRAT! But it did cool things off for the rest of the day, which was nice. They call for hot temps all week with the chance of showers and thunderstorms every day. We’ll see how many pop up here.
The soybeans are certainly enjoying the recent weather. They’re growing crazy-fast.
Welcome to the Canteen, heterosupremacist...glad you enjoyed reading about 1LT Sisler.
Glad you had a bit of a storm that cooled things off. We’ve been a bit cooler over the weekend, but no rain for us, of course.
Tomorrow is forecast to be over 100 again and then back down. Same roller coaster, different track. LOL!
I figured you were pretty tired from getting up early and then frustrated because you got there and found the place closed.
I was glad to see we’d gotten some rain because it was getting awfully dusty. The owner of the land across the road had the fields mowed and the grass/weeds rolled into hay rolls the past few days and the dust blew here. GACK!
They’re calling for highs in the 90s all week here and rain chances every day. It’ll be a soupy week. UGH
I couldn’t get to sleep Fri. night which is why I was so zonked last night. All the dust had my sinuses and lungs crudded up pretty bad. Hard to sleep when one can’t breathe.
You better believe I was frustrated. LOL! I look forward to going up there to work on the uniforms each week and it was a let-down. Still have three more weeks to wait to get back to it. *sigh*
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...we are supposed to get rain tonight. I hope so! The sky is really starting to look like it.
Did you and Blue get out today? Did Penny get a nice hike?
Hey there, radu...we are supposed to be getting rain overnight.
I was only a little industrious...I had a short list for a tall brother to do, so helped him with those. All easy stuff, but I couldn’t seem to get them done. I did come to the rescue getting the safe open in the garage. The contents are for AJ, but he couldn’t get it open. It took me about 4 tries, but we finally succeeded!!
I just finished clean up for tacos and burritos. Yummy!!
Now to start laundry. AJ did his own. And I have a little homework and tomorrow’s thread to finish.
Is it still terrible HOT?
Good evening, Luv...hope the blistering heat has let up some. We are supposed to get rain tonight!
The museum folks should have figured out by now that you come every weekend. They should let you know when they won’t be open.
Keeping all appendages crossed for luck on that rain! You need it badly!
Sounds like your day was pretty darn good. Got some things done but didn’t overdo it. Better make sure you’ve thought of everything you can use “tall brother” help with before he heads off. LOL
It’s been miserably hot but it was coolish when I woke up this afternoon, thanks to a storm that had moved through. Still soupy out there, though, and it didn’t take much moving around to break into a sweat. It’s going to be this way for at least the next week, if not longer. Ugh
Hi....it was cooler today and yesterday. Back up to 102 tomorrow, just for the one day.
Fingers crossed that you get your rain! You probably need it nearly as bad as we do!
Gag! Even thinking about all that dust being stirred up makes my sinuses hurt! LOL! No wonder you couldn’t sleep. l hope you get enough rain to settle things and help the current crops grow.
I normally call to find out if there’ll be someone there but since one of the guys last week said they’d be open, I didn’t call. Something came up this week that made them decide to be closed for three weeks. Had I made the usual call(s), I’d have known.
But it would have been nice if one of them had been kind enough to call to let me know.
