After their summit in Singapore, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and United States President Donald Trump could meet again as soon as July, this time in Pyongyang.
According to South Korean daily Joongang Ilbo, citing a source in Singapore, Mr Kim has invited Mr Trump to North Korea to hold a second summit in July.
The invitation was in a letter written by Mr Kim to Mr Trump and hand delivered by Mr Kim's right-hand man, General Kim Yong Chol, to the White House on June 1.
While Mr Trump has not revealed what was written in the letter, he seemed happy to get it. He told reporters then it was “a very nice letter” and “a very interesting letter”. He also announced that the June 12 Singapore summit with Mr Kim -- at that time still unconfirmed -- was back on.
The consensus for a second summit was also reached during multiple working level meetings between the two sides, including those between US State Department's top Korea expert, Mr Sung Kim, and North Korea's Vice-Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, Joongang Ilbo said.
The source was cited as saying that the Pyongyang meeting, if it materialises, will follow up on the finer points of North Korea's denuclearisation which the two leaders are expected to broach at their first summit in Singapore on Tuesday (June 12).
If the second summit goes ahead, it may be followed by a summit in Washington in September, the report said.

We will have to wait and see about this... all we have are his word ( and based on the records of the past, it is not entirely unreasonable to be cautious ).
Just imagine the optics of President Trump towering over all of the emaciated aged generals with their goofy giant hats.

Not going to happen. Imagine that Soros + $1.0 Billion + Kim decided to make a deal. No way can you have the security you need to protect the President.
Its interesting people really think Kim is going to give them up.
