Winners and Losers: Trump is the big winner in Tuesday’s primaries
Washington Post ^ | June 13, 2018 | Amber Phillips

Tuesday brought another set of primaries across the country — in Maine, South Carolina, Nevada, North Dakota and Virginia — and another set of surprises. Here are the night's winners and losers.

Winners

President Trump: It's overly simplistic to say that South Carolina GOP congressman Mark Sanford lost his primary Tuesday because of Trump. But Trump was definitely a factor in making Sanford the second House Republican in 2018 to lose a primary. The president sent off this remarkably caustic tweet on Tuesday afternoon, as voters in South Carolina were getting off work and going to vote.

The results must be killer.

Donald is still as proud as a whole farm of peacocks, but at least he has a resolve about where he wants to go. If this is of God, eventually the pride will mellow out and God will get explicit glory instead.

Deep down Bezos is happy because he got richer under Trump, not under Big Ears. He’s still a POS though..

”He is better off in Argentina.”

I’ve read a lot of great Trump tweets, but that line tops all of them. Still can’t stop laughing.

I’d say being the best President in our lifetime is something he SHOULD be proud of.

He, like the rest of us, have the awful choice of whether to take the glory ourselves from here to eternity (in which case God is going to say “you fell short, to the proud devil you go”) or to cede the glory to God.

What I mean is that you think Donald Trump is something special? Only in context. When Jesus says “hold My wine and watch this” then it will put any mortal to shame.

When you are fighting to be re-elected against the lies of the media, who will not only give you NO credit for anything, but spin everything good you do into a negative, you have to do what Trump is doing.

I don't think it's "pride", but getting the truth out any way possible to those who have been hornswaggled by the "media".

Whatever became of "judge not, lest ye be judged?"

Do we have a "holier than thou" whiner, or a leftist troll carping, trying to divide?

Absolutely and without reservations.

If you are a patriot and you want America to survive, you better support President Trump.

The MSM described the SC vote as “fealty” to Trump. God how I can’t stand those idiots.

Bush League Republicans are hell bent on opposing MAGA and for turning the USA into North Mexico.
They must be defeated at every opportunity.

You, a secular screen. Faith is the sixth sense. In fact it understands what is going on in the world of that sixth sense.

No he isn’t of course. It’s more a sad comment on where we are. Still, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I always thought self-righteousness was a form of pride, and just as sinful in the eyes of the Lord, or nearly anyway.
