Hard not to if you travel much. Lots of areas, such as Boston, have removed toll-booths, which make them mandatory to use the roads, else you get bill/penalty in the mail.

Ed pass signs in Virginia stink. You an get killed just trying to read one at 60. Mph and they don’t care.

no one has answered the question yet so I'll take a stab at it. Maryland offers a 10%or better discount if you use maryland roads with a maryland ez pass. You used to have to pay 20$ for each pass and they have a draconian way of using your credit card I didn't like and it is used to keep a minimum balance in you ez pass account. I got a mass card because they were free and they only wanted 20$ in your account and they don't use your cc until it gets below 5$. I just don't get the discount in maryland. Its 6$ to cross the 301 bridge to leave the state! theres no toll booths coming in.. you can check i. for free but you cant leave .. Don't know about Va or where you will using it. I see the day coming where is will be like south florida, no toll workers and they will send you a bill with outrageous handling charges. ref the 3.50$ toll with the 50.00$ handling charge mentioned earlier

This is BS. Why have we been paying taxes on gasoline at the pump for decades?? What have they done with this money?? Sure as hell not filling pot holes.
