Leaked version of pending House immigration bill calls for amnesty for millions of illegals
American Thinker ^ | June 14, 2018 | Thomas Lifson

Breitbart News claims that it received a leaked draft of Paul Ryan's immigration bill, to be voted on before the House recess. I have my fingers crossed that this is not the bill that will be introduced, but rather a preliminary wish-list version. The excerpts posted by Breitbart indicate a complete sell-out of the base in favor of the corporate donors wanting cheap labor. According to a leaked draft of the amnesty deal, obtained by Breitbart News, Ryan's plan would allow the entire "DACA population" to be eligible for amnesty so long as they meet low educational, work, and criminal requirements, prompting the amnesty to explode in size.

That DACA population could include the nearly 3.5 million DACA-enrolled and DACA-eligible illegal aliens, and even more illegal aliens who arrive in the U.S. to fraudulently obtain the amnesty. ... A second amnesty is included in the leaked draft, one that would allow the children of temporary foreign guest workers and "anyone who has a 'contingent nonimmigrant status'" to apply for the amnesty.

This amnesty for the children of temporary foreign workers does not have a numerical cap, allowing for an endless number of foreign nationals to obtain amnesty through this avenue known as "Pathway Concept B." "The winners are the DREAMers cause they get their amnesty, Democrats because they don't have to concede much to get the amnesty and donor-class Republicans who are interested in perpetuating the current system," Center for Immigration Studies director of policy Jessica Vaughan told Breitbart News of Ryan's leaked amnesty deal.

This sounds like a plan to keep the GOP base at home on November 8 and hand over the speaker's gavel to Nancy Pelosi.

What the heck are Ryan and the GOP establishment doing?

Everything is being kept secret and is being lied about.

Sounds like a first draft that they’re planning negotiate down.

Whatever they are doing, the cheap labor flow must not be opened. I suspect it will be by the lame duck Ryan.

President Trump has been very friendly to Establishment Republicans lately. I hope we are not being set up for amnesty front door or back door in all this Congressional maneuvering.

Pass NONE of this. Many open-borders globalist RINOs are wisely not running for re-election and will be replaced by MAGA Patriots come January 2019. That’s not too far away — WE CAN WAIT! Stand with our American workers!

Lets see what the actual Bill is before everyone panics.

Trump is not going to sign a massive amnesty bill.

They are working on their post-congressional careers. Ryan can work for the chamber of commerce or be put on the board of some illegal hiring company.

The problem is that the Democrats won’t compromise on any Bill in which they don’t get everything and Trump nothing.

Amnesty....just in time for the 2018 election. Hispanics to surege to 30% of the voting population. Permanent Democrat super majorites will the new norm. Glad I never had children. It’s very cruel thing to do to bring a child into this world.

NO AMNESTY

We have been down this road once already with Reagan and were told it would never happen again.

I like most of the illegals I meet, and I meet a lot of them. There are many aspects of Latin culture I appreciate.

But I lived in SA for years and, sorry, but I don't want our culture replaced for theirs. There are too many downsides.

Besides, no country can reward people for breaking its laws. Any country without border controls is not a country but merely a territory.

I would not even mind if they proposed amnesty, but NO CITIZENSHIP !!! AND IMMEDIATE DEPORTATION IF THEY COMMIT ANY CRIMES (like voting)

I would be OK with that proposal because the Democraps would never, ever agree to it.

Which would expose their true agenda.

“IF THEY COMMIT ANY CRIMES (like voting)”

States can try to authorize non-citizens to vote, as California has done.

“How many non-citizens participate in U.S. elections? More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote. Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2014/10/24/could-non-citizens-decide-the-november-election/?utm_term=.0a3c7cc3490d

“Non-citizen votes could have given Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health-care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) won election in 2008 with a victory margin of 312 votes. Votes cast by just 0.65 percent of Minnesota non-citizens could account for this margin.”

If you read the article you’ll see how nicely formatted the proposals are.

Citizenship in slightly over five years is possible.

That’s 2023.

They will get to vote in the 2024 Presidential race.

Since the top RINOs [Senator Grahamnesty, etc.]would want to try to be President in 2024, I suspect that the proposal isn’t top level.

Yup. Thing is they are setting up to negotiate against President Trump and his base (i.e., Americans), not the Democrats.
