Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement that John Huber, a U.S. attorney based in Utah who’s reviewing allegations of FBI bias and wrongdoing, “will provide recommendations as to whether any matter not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any matters merit the appointment of Special Counsel.”

Why precisely is the matter of crimes against the people solely in the hands of a Utah lawyer?
Today while Truth was being killed on Deep-State’s battlefield, Trump was being briefed by Rosenstein. It reminds of the baptism, mafia war scene in Godfather 11.
Criminal prosecutions have ALWAYS been the responsibility of federal prosectors, that is not the job of the IG. This report outlines many failings and errors by the FBI and DOJ. Failings and errors are not crimes. You get fired for being lousy at your job but you don’t go to jail for it. If some of the identified actions rise to the level of crime, then Huber or soemone like him would go to a grand jury and seek an indictment. That’s how the system has always worked.
I understand people wanted hellfire and damnation and are mad they didn’t get it, but that’s their fault for having unrealistic expectations. You have to have a crime before you can send someone to jail and now we’ll find out if any were committed. Hating Trump saying so to your co-workers is just as protected under the first amendment as us hating Hillary and saying so on FR.
People need to stop getting hung up on “bias” which is not a crime and realize that 95% of this report validates and proves every single thing we have been complaining about that is wrong with the FBI and DOJ for years.

I repeatedly told the sessions defenders, the Sundunce cultists and everyone on FR that Huber WAS NOT assigned to conduct any crimnal investigations. Now sessions has again confirmed hubers tasks.
No one is in estigating any clinton obama scandal. No one.

Huber is one step removed from a Special Counsel. He was appointed purportedly because he is outside of DC and presumably can mete out justice fairly.
US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, out of Chicago, filled the same role investigating the Valerie Plame name leak under Bush 43. Not an SC but a US Attorney outside of DC influence,....presumably.
I don’t know the answer, but if it is to be re-opened, it would be a DOJ decision, I think. Meanwhile Huber has been conducting investigations (into matters we don’t know specifics of) with a grand jury for five months now, and this is a far more effective strategy than appointing a 2nd special prosecutor as some are calling for. Sessions has teamed Horowitz and his staff of nearly 500 investigators up with Huber and his grand jury, so we just need to stay calm, realize this is a marathon not a sprint, and that today’s report confirmed everything we’ve been saying about the FBI and DOJ for years.
