Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Friday that he “doesn’t give a shit” about critics who don't like him working with President Trump.
“If you don’t like me working with President Trump to make the world a better place, I don’t give a shit,” Graham told CNN’s “At This Hour.”
Graham, who unsuccessfully ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016 and blasted Trump throughout the primary, said he trusts and likes the president.
“I’ve got a relationship with the president at a time when he needs allies,” Graham said.
The South Carolina senator has praised Trump for conducting missile strikes on Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime and for his talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
On Friday, Graham said he previously received praised for working with former President Barack Obama.
“When I worked with President Obama, and I did, on occasion, I was a hero,” Graham said.
“Now when I work with President Trump, I’m two-faced. I know how the game’s played and I don’t give a damn.”
Did he have a “Lover’s Tiff” with McCain?
