The recent Inspector Generals report shows foreign agents Did access the secret material on Hillary's unsecured server. And the Justice Department and most likely the FBI knew it all along. So why wasn't Hillary put in Jail long ago?
The answer is that a lot of people have been covering her guilty butt for a long time and I do mean a Lot of people. Starting with President Obama and his staff, Loretta Lynch and the DOJ, Comey's FBI, the New York Times, the Washington Post and a host of others. They knew or should have known. After all it was an Unsecured Server with Secret Material on it AND THEY DIDN'T CARE.
Had the Tables been reversed and the Republicans were trying to cover it up, there would have been no end of it in the News. Instead we got a constant dose of cover ups, constant excuses and backtracking. From Whitewater to the Impeachment to the Email Investigations already done in Congress. The Clintons and their Minions did a superb butt covering job and especially while she ran for President.
Many knew what she was and came out in droves to say not no but hell no and for good reason. But the Justice Department, the FBI and most of the Press failed us. Recovering from this travesty foisted upon the American people is going to be a real slog.
And maybe for once the Blame will go squarely where it belongs on the Party of Hillary; She who should be in Jail.
Not in jail because of all the secrets she accessed (and illegally filed away) while Secretary of State and Democratic/Progressive lawyers placed in Justice by AG Holder?
I wish you could properly search Free Republic. I’ve been saying since right after the private email story broke, that we needed to be operating under the assumption that the entire contents of that server were in the hands of every country with an intelligence apparatus worthy of the name. Britain, Germany, France, Israel, for starters, among allies, China, Russia, probably North Korea, among adversaries.

The IG report repeats Comey's statement: "Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton's personal email account." The previous wording was "reasonably likely" instead of just "possible". The IG report also points out that someone got into another account on the same server and browsed emails, but we read about that in the FBI report over a year ago. The IG report adds more evidence that the Midyear team did their best to obstruct the investigation including "Although the Midyear team left open the possibility of obtaining process to search the six laptops, the team ultimately never sought a search warrant."

We need to accept that Hillary will never be charged with anything.
She has enough cash that she won’t have to cut a deal and no jury in DC will EVER convict her, regardless of all the ironclad evidence against her.
She’d love nothing more than to be able to claim she was found innocent.

We’re supposed to believe that Hillary decided to implement her own email server because it was more convenient? Yup, that’s middle-aged women for you, always tweaking their server settings and creating web domains, just for “convenience”.
Hillary used her personal email server as a Drop-box. Make the proper donation to the “Clinton Foundation™” and whatever classified documents your country needed would end up there. Everyone at the FBI assumed that Hillary’s campaign would successfully rig the election, so they didn’t dare pursue her obvious crimes. If she had won anyone who had gone after her would have either been transferred to the Siberia field office or committed “suicide”.
She will never see the inside of a jail cell. The American “justice” system has an impenetrable cloak of protection on her.
Anybody consider how many dead Americans there are from what Hillary did? Huma was sending that same classified info to her laptop. That laptop could have easily been accessed by her family. Go find out what her Dad and family are linked to, for those that are lazy I’ll sum it up ‘Muslim brotherhood terrorists’ but feel free to have your own opinion.
Hillary servers (note pleural), Obama and just about everyone else in the last administrations private google accounts. Weoponized government, IRS, CIA, NSA, DOJ, FBI, and other acronyms. We have a government for the government, by the government, run by fascists who claim to be Democrats. Believe me, they don’t care about laws or who they kill.
I have said from the start that she wouldn’t be prosecuted because the Clinton Foundation was a CIA front operation.

Yes, Hillary has been protected as everyone here has said. However, James Comey could never prosecute anyone who was doing the same thing as he was doing. Comey used private email for official business so that’s why he said Hillary didn’t mean to commit a crime. Neither did he in his mind.
It gets even worse: “The investigation, published Wednesday by the House Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, further discloses secret efforts by top Obama administration officials to assure European countries they would receive a pass from U.S. sanctions if they engaged in business with
Iran.”

The Obama modus operandi was to ask for little, to get less, and then to declare the United States a winner.

His administration set records for major, costly regulations that stymie business and reduce your freedoms even if some do some good. His Clean Power Plan would have dictated to states that they had to get rid of certain laws.
Due process died. Obama’s education department told colleges and universities they must abandon due process for any male accused of sexual harassment. He granted legal status to illegal immigrants after saying some 20 times it would be unconstitutional to do so. He unilaterally rewrote laws. He refused to enforce others.
Obama also skipped the constitutional requirement of having the Senate vote on treaties, thereby making them mere executive orders that Trump could reverse, and fortunately has in the case of Iran.......an enriched Iran is still pursuing nuclear armament and Middle East hegemony.
Obama actually spied on reporters.....threatening them with jail if they did not reveal sources. He set a record in refusing to release government information requested by citizens........
Obfuscation, lying and spying were Obama’s fave tools.
I wonder if she has contacted any potential witnesses in this case. Manafort is now locked up pending trial for that very thing. We need to go on offense soon, enough rope a dope
