Well, I think this is being taken seriously now. It was last visited before Turkey invaded Afrin (Efrin), with the blessing of Russia and Assad.

That disaster has changed the relation between Turkey and the other players. And the relation between Iran and Russia has changed.

I look for some alignment to form around those changes. It is discussed, but not publicly.

And consider the damage that Erdogan has done both within and outside of Turkey. It is possible the he will show poorly in the upcoming election on the 24th.

This may be a bridge through which a democratic Syria could emerge.

I know, Erdogan will try to steal the election. But is the damage so bad it won't work?

Is the relationship between Turkey and the US forever destroyed? It is yet unclear.
