Credit where credit is due...Graham laid out a good case for the FBI deciding to change language and not prosecute because not doing so would have required charging Hillary and therefore opening the door for a Trump victory which clearly was a concern of those involved in the Hillary investigation.
Yeah but tomorrow Graham could flip right back.
Interestingly the timeline he provides shows how the FIB team might have actually had a chance of stopping Trump by coopting the GOPe. If Hillary had been indicted just prior to the convention, the GOPe would have been confronted with the very real possibility that Trump could actually win. Maybe probably would win. Since it was prior to the convention, they would have likely met behind closed doors and thought up every dirty trick they could to get anyone but Trump nominated. As it was, they figured he could never win so they would just have to bite their tongues and they could denounce him the day after the election. But of course the FIB team couldnt take that gamble, heck if a republican won at all I get the feeling they would have been horrified.
