My junior high was once named for Chief Justice Earl Warren. About 20 years ago, it was changed to "Creekside", which makes no sense whatsoever.

Castro Valley is about 15 miles south of Berkeley, which explains its uber-liberalness. I left after high school, never to return. The Army brought me to Texas after college (in Washington)...except for four years in Germany, I've been a naturalized Texan for over 40 years.
