Hidey ho, Heidi!
and good riddance.
Republicans never get large leads in polling.
But Tester leads in Montana.
It’s early. I think we will soon pull ahead in Montana.
See me after Labor Day.
FWIW Mason Dixon is the Gold standard for state polling.
Point taken...
but I still look at the polls.
Dems(and the media) are desperately running with “children in cages” because it’s all they got.
WSJ breathlessly reporting... will this cost Republicans the House and the Senate? lol
If an R loses in N. Dakota in a statewide race in 2018 its the candidates fault...
Even with Obama at her back she only won by less than 3000 votes... she was never likely to win again.
Honestly, I’ll be shocked if N D ever sends a Democratic Senator back to Washington in my Lifetime...
D party has just marched off the left wing of the world...
Good news. Nice to see this.
Look polls are fun and profitable. Just ask Nate “The Great” Silver. I am sorry there is no republican party. Trump slayed it and he is the party. Either you walk with him or he walks over you. Just ask the Bushes.
I listen to a Fargo radio station on TuneIn Radio, The Flag - VERY conservative.
Heidi has been running ads on THIS station stating that she ‘votes with Trump more than 65%...’ POS!
Nodaks are smart enough not to fall for this $hit.
NOW, being a fourth generation Montanan in Bozeman:
Testor is (despicable to me) not so offensive to the populace...
Matt Rosendale is the R candidate... he’s a good guy but from out of state (some years ago) and Testor is hammering him on it...it’s a long way to November.
I personally worked for our other Senator and our single Rep. - and by worked, I mean employed by...long before they had political aspirations.
Daines is a good guy...Gianforte is from out of state as well, though I expect him to win handily.
Montana has only - in it’s history - re-elected a Republican senator twice: Conrad Burns (both times), whom Testor tied to Jack Abramoff and won the election by a few thousand votes. Testor later apologized...
The posters who somehow cannot understand that Montana has bee a liberal state in the Senate for 150 years have no concept of Montana history. MONTANA is the reason for the 17th amendment! And Janet Rankin was the first female congress member. She was the ONLY member of congress to vote AGAINST WWII.
THE ONLY ONE!
We are working on the ground for our candidate (I voted for him in the primary) but it will be an interesting race to be sure.
ND here. It’ll be tight. Heitkamp is well versed and supportive of Oil and Agriculture. (She knows were her bread is buttered.) And she’s a pretty moderate Democrat (Seriously not liked by flaming liberals) which plays well with independents and middle grounders.
Just sayin’ she’s well liked and it’ll be tight.

Ibly, Wibly, Wobly, Whoaaaa !!!!
You mean to tell me were it not for Montana, there would be no 17th Amendment? In that case, THANKS A LOT JACKWAGONS!!
Look up Senator Clark.
Removed from the Senate for offering bribes to state reps and senators.
$5,000 per - in the late 1800’s!
His business rival, Dailey pursued the issue, Clark was removed from office.
He had mining and rail interests. He created a rail line fro SLC to LA with a overnight stop in - wait for it - a new town he built in Nevada (Clark County, BTW) called Las Vegas.
He ran unopposed for senate six years later (Dailey had died).
Montana is a state where wealthy liberals have always come to hide (during the depression) and thrive...
My little town has over 300 non profits (NP) - many of these NP have nothing to do with Montana...The Sonoran Desert Foundation is an example...
If the 17th were repealed Montana sure wouldn’t be sending liberals to the Senate. But I would want a few other changes too - (1) term limits, (2) barring sitting congressmen and candidates from accepting $$ from anyone who resides outside their district or state, and (3) barring them from accepting ANY $$ from ANYONE while in office.
This way, Hollywood couldn’t pour money into House and Senate races anywhere outside California, and congressmen wouldn’t be bought off by lobbyists and special interest groups.
Let’s hope repubs can pick up this seat.
