Press Secretary Sarah Sanders fired both barrels at former first lady Laura Bush during Monday’s White House press briefing. Sanders was asked about an op-ed Bush wrote for the far-left Washington Post, where she compared the necessary and moral separation of migrant children from their illegal alien parents to the Japanese American internment camps built by Democrat president and icon Franklin Roosevelt. Sanders held nothing back in pointing out Bush’s hypocrisy. And, frankly, this law was actually signed into effect in 2008 under her husband’s leadership, not under this administration,” she added. “We’re not the one’s responsible for creating this problem; we’ve inherited it. But we’re actually the first administration stepping up and trying to fix it.”

Laura Bush is the prime reason GW Bush went soft and distanced himself from conservatism. Remember he said regarding his wife “I married up”.

Sarah Sanders did what press secretaries are supposed to do.
She presented irrefutable factual evidence in the court of public opinion that her boss is not guilty of creating the mess he’s being attacked for, thus demolishing his accusers.
Successful lawyers do this every day to help their clients, and if Sarah Sanders would also do this every day, what a blessing it would be for Donald Trump, his followers, and the country.
Of course he did.

I had forgotten Laura’s role in the Harriet Miers insanity:

Yeah Laura. We didn’t oppose Miers because she was a hack judge and family friend of yours. We did it because conservatives are a bunch of sexist pigs!

Melania Trump said similar things, so did Rev. Franklin Graham, and Kellyanne Conroy! No one is attacking them, are they? Why do so many people on here become so hatefull, whenever a Bush family member says anything? Has this site become so hateful toward the any Bush, that they attack one member, when many in Pres. Trump’s circle say similar things? Now that’s sad! It’s really getting hard to read much on this site anymore! And don’t bother to trash me, I really don’t care; because I’m merely giving an opinion! I used to enjoy it so much, but it’s becoming pretty toxic now.
because her husband is the one who signed the law that brought this about. Apparently she is not smart enough to know that as she attacks the man who is trying to fix it. It’s hateful and disgusting.
