COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) – President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will visit South Carolina to campaign for Gov. Henry McMaster ahead of next Tuesday’s runoff election between the incumbent and John Warren.
According to a press release, Pence is expected in South Carolina on Saturday and Trump is expected on Monday.
The details as to where and when the visits will occur are expected to be released Wednesday, the release stated.
“President Trump and Vice President Pence are changing the world, and we couldn’t be more excited to have their support.” McMaster said in a statement.

McMaster supported Trump early & Trump endorsed McMaster.
McMaster was Lt. Gov for Nikki Haley. She moved on & McMaster took over.
I still think John Warren would be “real good”, probably better... but John didn’t carry too many counties & is somewhat unknown.
We have not heard (nationally) ANYTHING about this primary - and very little about any others. TX lesbian, GA black woman uber-socialist got a few TV minutes. Now, when Trump goes to Utah against Romney, or to AZ against McCain’s dead body......
then Trumps visit should help then.
I’m on the Trump train, and voting Warren. Nothing personal against McMaster,but definitely a “good ol’ boy from way back when, and it shows. Time for new blood, reform. Feel that John Warren is the real deal. Trump was private sector, too, and look at what he is doing. Ready to give Warren a chance.
He seems to be one of the only SC politicos that is not a Cheap Labor Express stooge. He came out early for Trump while everyone else was splitting their support among the amnesty candidates. Haley for Rubio, Graham for himself, Tim Scott for Rubio.

I liked Bryant better, but voted Warren, because I knew Warren had a chance at the runoff. Warren all the way!

Trump is willing to campaign for him, and his judgment has been fairly good so far.

The question should be, why are so many Repubs so willing to give seats to the other Party because the only winnable candidate on our side isn't conservative enough....60%-80% voting with Trump is better than 0%.....

Not sure if McMaster is the “only winnable candidate”. If Warren beat McM, I don’t think SC Repub’s would crossover to Democrat. Indies “may” though...

Warren made his fortune financing big real estate buyouts. That includes short sales and foreclosures during the housing crash.
He is on tape saying women have to have the right to choose and he needs to think further on open carry and more gun control in SC.
