The Mysteries of the House IT Scandal
NLPC ^ | 6/18/18 | Carl Horowitz

It’s the Washington conspiracy that barely speaks its name. And unlike the incandescent “Russian interference” scandal dominating the news for well over a year, this one has the potential to cause grave harm to our national security.

**SNIP**

How did Imran Awan come to be represented by a lawyer who is close to both Bill and Hillary Clinton? Mr. Awan, so far as one knows, does not know the Clintons personally. But his chief protector, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, certainly does. The Florida congresswoman was an outspoken ally of Hillary Clinton during her 2008 and 2016 presidential runs. And Awan’s attorney, Christopher Gowen, is also a former employee and longtime friend of the Clintons. He began his legal career on Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ home turf as a Miami-Dade County public defender. Later he would be a founding partner of Gowen Silva & Winograd, a law firm with offices in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. His most famous (or infamous) highlight as a litigator was his defense of a fellow lawyer, Steven Donziger, who, according to a federal district court, had submitted fraudulent evidence in order to win a $9.5 billion class-action suit on behalf of several Ecuadorean citizens against Chevron; the U.S. Supreme Court last June ruled against Donziger in affirming the judgment of his unsuccessful appeal. Gowen during the George W. Bush years worked as a travel aide for Bill Clinton and for then-Senator Hillary Clinton. He also was a fact checker for Bill Clinton’s 2004 presidential memoir, My Life, and the principal advance man for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Christopher Gowen speaks like a true believer. Last July he described Imran Awan’s arrest as “clearly a right-wing media-driven prosecution by a United States Attorney’s Office that wants to prosecute people for working while Muslim.”

The potential is not over? Why is that?

Awan was helping democrats in the house rip off the US government. They would get free iphones, Awan would send 2 invoices for $499, fraudulently itemized as “parts” or such. The dems would sign off, viola, free iphones. For them AND their staffs. Wink wink.

Millions of dollars of fraud. Dozens of dem members involved.

Remember the check kiting scandal? That was patty-cake. This is outright felony fraud.

Sessions? Still refused. I mean recused.

This will NOT get invesigated more than superficially unless Donald Trump takes a hand in it. He has so many irons in the fire that he may not even get to this one. Without him ordering and firing, nothing substantive will get done because the entire DoJ permanent staff opposes him and is part of the attempted takeover.

As the Awan clan gleaned Democrats' intel, Cong Debbie W/S was a big shot, riding on AF One with Obama---and heading the DNC.

D/W/S mentored the Awan clan and facilitated huge IT govt paychecks for them....a group that was not particularly trained in IT.

An even bigger mystery than how they got here is how the shady Pakis got visas to abscond.

Did "someone" with a lot of political pull facilitate the visas to help them abscond?

Some reports say the Pakis traveled on WH visas.

NY Democrat---Cong Yvette Clarke and friend.

She describes herself as a "Queen of the Caribbean;" She belongs to the Congressional Caribbean Caucus.
Clarke made friends quickly, what with her knowledge of offshore banking havens in the Caribbean.

HOW THE IT SCAM WAS RIGGED FOR PROFIT----Democrat NY Cong Yvette Clarke's office approved a $120,000 "write-off" of tax-paid tech Equipment Linked To the Awan clan (made the tax dollars and the equipment disappear). The missing govt-issue tax-paid devices included many iPhones and iPads. At $800 each, Cong Yvette Clarke's $120,000 write-off would force taxpayers to pay for 150 electronic items for her staff of 16......that's about 10 iPhones and iPads each.

Democrat Cong Yvette Clarke's tax-paid payroll records indicate she has 16 employees......why did Cong Clarke need so many electronics for that small staff? She was also oblivious to the fact that all that expensive govt-paid equipment she ordered was delivered to Imran's house.

According to ace reporting by the Daily Caller, Cong Clarke's office casually signed off on what appears to be a theft ring operating inside the Democrat Congressional Caucus then-headed by Cong Becerra. The facts suggest the Awan gang was running the oldest of scams......selling computer gear out the back door after first reporting it stolen to authorities. (hat tip The Daily Caller).

NOTE: Democrat Clarke is only one employer audited, so far. Patterns of theft in other Democrat offices have yet to be investigated.

===============================

EXCERPT....then-Democrat Cong Becerra never publicly acknowledged nor demanded consequences for the cyber breach on his House Democratic Caucus server (similar in nature to the DNC)......and eighteen months later, no one has been charged....not surprising since the elected Democrats don’t appear to be asking for it......

This is a huge red flag. This is organized crime on Capitol Hill.

Democrats have apparently taken the "Oath of Omerta."

Judicial Watch has covered this scandal very closely.

Our Congressional Republican leadership - as expected - has been completely AWOL on this for two years!

Thanx again Liz!

Couple questions re: timeline on the awan skam:

1. how many times has cong clarke been re-electected since this fraud was exposed publicly?
2. how long ago did bacerra, currently cali AG, who was “ground zero” on the hiring of awan, skip town??

Clarke has not stood for reelection since being outed. Clarke is up in 2018 since first winning her seat in 2006.

She is being challenged by a Harvard grad whose parents came here from Uganda,

.....how long ago did Cong Becerra skip town.....to take the Cali AG job?

MERCURY NEWS.COM---MAY 29, 2018 --- California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has been polarizing since his appointment last year, but now one of the men running to unseat him claimed in a lawsuit Tuesday that the state’s top lawyer is legally barred from even serving in his current post. Could Gov. Jerry Brown have been so careless as to appoint someone unqualified?

According to the suit filed in Sacramento County Superior Court by rival candidate Eric Early, Becerra cannot serve because he was listed as “inactive” from 1991 to 2017 in the state bar. State law requires the attorney general to have been “admitted to practice” before the state Supreme Court for five years before taking office. Becerra was admitted to the bar in 1985. “For almost 26 straight years, he was an inactive member of the state bar,” Early said in an interview. “He does not have what it takes to be the chief legal officer of the state of California.”

But Becerra’s campaign and Brown’s office noted this all has a familiar ring — a judge 11 years ago threw out a lawsuit claiming Brown was ineligible for the office of Attorney General to which he had just been elected because his bar membership was inactive from 1997 to April 2003. The judge in that 2007 ruling argued that “admission to practice law is separate from the question of ‘active’ or ‘inactive’ membership in the State Bar,” which she called a “purely ministerial” distinction that affects only member dues. “They made this same frivolous argument after Jerry Brown was elected Attorney General and the courts shut them down and ordered them to pay Brown’s court costs,” Becerra campaign manager Dana Williamson said. “I don’t anticipate a different outcome in this case.”

The state bar says that “only active licensees may practice law in California,” but adds that “inactive licensees have chosen this status voluntarily and may transfer to active at any time upon request.” Early, however, said the issue has yet to be decided by the state’s high court and that the trial court judge in 2007 also was concerned about reversing the will of voters who already had elected Brown, whereas Becerra has yet to be elected to his office. His lawsuit is being handled by former Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley and asks the court to declare Becerra ineligible and order his name stricken from the November ballot.

Brown appointed Becerra, a fellow Democrat and former Congressman, as Attorney General following Kamala Harris’ election to the U.S. Senate. Becerra is running to keep the job in the June 5 primary election against fellow Democrat Dave Jones and Republicans Early and Steven Bailey, a former Superior Court judge. The two candidates who receive the most votes in June, regardless of party, will face off in the November election. Becerra had $3.2 million to Jones’ $1.56 million in their campaign accounts going into this election year, with Early and Bailey far behind.

Becerra has aggressively sued President Donald Trump’s administration over immigration and environmental policies, but his critics argue he’s ignored other important matters. Jones, the state Insurance Commissioner, argues Becerra hasn’t done enough to remove illegally owned guns, prevent opioid over-prescriptions or clear a backlog of testing rape evidence.Early, an attorney specializing in business, entertainment and real estate law, and Bailey, a retired El Dorado County Superior Court judge, oppose sanctuary cities and early release of prisoners and want the death penalty enforced. (The Associated Press contributed to this report.)

WIKI EXCERPT-—The check-kiting scandal contributed to a perception of corruption and malfeasance and was a contributing factor to major changes in the House, in which 77 Representatives resigned or were ousted in the 1994 election.

Four ex-Congressmen, a Delegate, and the former House Sergeant at Arms were convicted of wrongdoing as a result of the investigation that followed.

Among these, former Rep. Buz Lukens (R-OH) was convicted on bribery and conspiracy charges. Former Rep. Carl C. Perkins (D-KY) pleaded guilty to various charges including a check kiting scheme involving several financial institutions including the House Bank. Former Rep. Carroll Hubbard (D-KY) pleaded guilty to three felonies. The former Sergeant at Arms, Jack Russ, pleaded guilty to three felonies.

Neither Becerra nor his predecessor Kamala Harris (now a US Senator) did a thing to stop Harvey Weinstein's reign of sexual terror.

APRIL 2016 THE PAKI SCAM IS UNVEILED---Alarm bells went off when House computer security officials reported “irregularities” in computer equipment purchasing......specifically, the theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars in US government property. The initial evidence pointed to (a) five Paki IT staffers, and, (b) Congressional Democrats that employed them.

The Paki scam quickly exploded into:
<><> (A) multiple charges of conspiracy against the United States of America,
<><>(B) double-billing Congress,
<><> (C) placing ghost employees on the govt payroll,
<><> (D) stealing govt issue electronics,
<><>(E) submitting falsified documents to the US govt,
<><> (F) mortgage scams,
<><>(G) shady wire transfers to Pakistan, and,
<><>(H) Congressional bank fraud.

Democrats hired this bunch to boost their “diversity” credentials....sucking up for votes is never far from their small minds.
