Any Democratic hopes that Mr. McConnell might hold up the Senate’s consideration of Justice Kennedy’s successor until after the midterm elections were quickly put to rest. Say what you may . . . he knows the parliamentarian rules/games of the Senate . . . probably better than Dirty Harry Reid . . . and considering we have Gorsuch . . .
While we might want him to go nuclear . . . we don’t want it to bite us in the butt 4 or 8 or 12 or more years from now.
While Matt Bevin was a great alternative for Mitch, glad he is now Gov of KY and while Mitch might be a little too far GOPe .. .he is what we got now and we have to live with it. For now.

I agree, and yet McConnell’s one of the most powerful men in the country. Something’s not right about that.
I’m not asking Mitch to go postal. There’s just so many things that need to be done, and he’s already close to frittering away the first half of Trump’s term in office.
